Homewood Suites by Hilton Davenport

This place is fine to stay if you just need a clean place to sleep but then way overpriced. If you want decent amenities that are in actual working order, you should book somewhere else. Broken doors, furniture, peeling wallpaper, and an elevator that sounds and shakes like it’s about to plummet. Our shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned in weeks with pink soap scum up the walls. The staff are friendly enough, but I wound never go back.

It started off with not having my digital key available and having to wait while 3 people checked in that were ahead of us. The idea, I thought, was to not have to wait having a digital card. Then we get to our room and the stench of some prior food was obnoxious. The light in the kitchen area was our, three lights in the bathroom were out. The dishwasher and refrigerator were so gross on the outside, as if they hadn’t been wiped down at all. The walls are dirty. This is waaaaay to much money for this hotel. What we got was an $80 quality room but paid twice as much. Will not being coming back to this hotel.

I will not be staying here again. Small pool, hot tub not working, very limited breakfast. Staff seemed nice and good location but again for the amount of money that was paid, the amenities did not support it.

As a business traveler, one would expect there to be an in room safe for your valuables. Right? Not at this property. Having to lug around your electronics for business is not ideal nor is leaving them in your room. Safety security boxes not big enough for a laptop. As nice as this place is, that and dirty dishes in my newly checked in room are not acceptable to me nor should it be for any business traveler.

The room was dirty the pool light popped out of place there Service was the worst service I have ever had and the overcharged us for our room there lights went out there elevator shook when we were at the top.

Stayed in Homewood Suites Davenport for memorial day weekend. Drove up to the place and thought it was very nicely kept and new. Walked in to the front door and clerk was nice. Go up to the room and the first impression was that it was okay...then you look around. It was very dirty. Very dusty. Couch was filthy. Bath tub was mildewed with gaps in the group. The porcelain enamel was peeling off. The shower curtain was mildewed with red stains. The furnishings were quite worn. Toilet was tiny and cleared the door by about 1/4 inch. The towels had holes in them. The refrigerator was very loud. I am not normally a hard to please person but I was so disappointed as I love the Homewood Suites offering. We were travelling with family and did not want to leave since we would not be spending much time in the room and I was traveling on Hilton points. So, we just cleaned the best we could and covered the furniture with blankets that we had. My family that was also traveling and had a different room had an experience as bad or worse and actually checked out and went to the Home2 up the street. Breakfast on Saturday was pathetic...2 pieces of sausage and dried up french toast sticks. The people that were working there actually looked at our family and another wondering if we were actually going to eat that stuff (we did not). There was one bagel out and one english muffin...although they did bring more out. I'm not sure why they were being so sketchy about the breakfast (this was at 9A; breakfast goes until 10A on Sat). The next couple of days breakfasts were passible but pretty weak overall. Homewood Suites have had much better in the past. I would not stay here again. DIS·AP·POINT·ED.
