Hotel Mediterraneo

Great Spot for young travellers. The owner was lovely but from speaking to him it seems like he was not expecting 3 over 30s staying at his hotel. Most likely 18-24s The room was basic with 3 small beds which we’re comfortable and a nice little balcony. However the bathroom was tiny and the door didn’t close properly so was a little awkward. If you happen to arrive before check in there is no luggage store or toilets so you will need find a restaurant or beach nearby. Good happy hour cocktails and nice staff.

I did not stay at the hotell, but stayed at the pool area and used the bar/food service for 4.days. the location is perfect, hospitality great, good vibes, the best hang out place in town for sure. Feels like your own Oasis in town, owners Are friendly play good music and make a great tapas platter.

We were here for a week recently and really enjoyed our stay. The location is second to none, right in the main square, beside the bus stop with the most amazing view of the chora. The room was adequate, extremely clean with plenty of storage space, however the bathroom was extremely small. No kettle or tea /coffee making facilities but luckily as seasoned travellers in Greece we brought our own. The balcony was spacious and being on the second floor we had a fantastic view. The food in the bar was really good and what really makes this place special is the friendliness of Sal and his staff, very warm and welcoming. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds, it got very busy in the afternoon as non residents are allowed use the pool.loads of young Irish boys and girls arrived and spent the afternoons jumping in and out of the water. They were mostly friendly and well behaved but could be a bit off putting to older non Irish guests. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Una posizione invidiabile, una piscina bellissima, una vista impagabile. Sicuramente un hotel da prendere in considerazione per chi visita Ios. Vicinissimo a tutti i servizi essenziali, personale cordiale e disponibile. L’unica pecca che posso trovare è la mancanza di abbastanza prese di corrente e un bagno un po’ datato, ma sono dettagli che si possono tranquillamente ignorare.

Excellent hotel, comme mentionné dans les commentaires, très bien situé à Chora, tranquille malgré la frénésie de l’autre coté de la rue. Accueil très chaleureux du patron qui parle 4 ou 5 langues. L’hôtel bénéficie d’une belle piscine et l’aménagement du jardin est très bien conçu, avec des aires de repos, des matelas, des hamacs. Les chambres simples sont d’une propreté impeccable. Au bar on trouve de tout, des cafés, des petits-déjeuners, des salades etc. Vraiment super, à 10 minutes du port et de la plage et à coté d’un arrêt de bus.
