Das Hotel bietet viel Positives. Die Lage am Loch Fyne ist überragend. Die direkt vor dem Hotel verlaufende A82 stört dabei nicht. Das Essen sowohl beim Frühstück (Mischung aus Buffet und warmen Gerichten à la carte) als auch abends ist exzellent. Allerdings wiederholt sich das Menü abends rasch. Ausserdem hat man , wenn man Halbpension bucht, abends ein Budget von max 35 GBP, was bei Preisen um die 12 Pfund für die Vorspeisen, 20 bis 30 Pfund für die Hauptspeisen sowie 7 bis 8 Pfund Desserts eigentlich jeden Abend überschritten wird. Alle Gerichte waren wie gesagt sehr gut. Der Spa Bereich ist top und sehr neu. Leider funktionierten Steamroom und ein Jacuzzi (innen) nicht in Betrieb. Anwendungen wie Massagen waren sehr gut. Das Personal war ingesamt sehr nett, teils aber überfordert und dem Andrang nicht gewachsen. Teils auch nicht wirklich geschult.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful experience at the Spa. We were greeted by Niall O'Shaughnessy who was friendly and made us feel welcome. We were shown around the Spa. The pool and indoor hot tub were spacious and warm. Outside there was a Sona and hot tub both lovely. Our group had massages and a facial done by Chelsea and Margaret both who were so professional and friendly, they made us feels comfortable. The salt and steam rooms were perfect. We also had afternoon tea, the cakes were so delicious and we had a wonderful view . While we had our teas and coffees Niall came and checked in with us. All the staff we spoke to were extremely professional, approachable and friendly. We all enjoyed our day so much and will be back.

This is not an 4 star hotel in the slightest bit. Aeden was beyond rude. I ordered an aperol spritz, world-wide recipe is known as 3 oz Prosecco, 2 oz aperol, & 1 oz club soda. When the drink came as barely pink I asked for it to made properly. They refused to make it & charged me for the drink I didn’t consume after I was told it would be taken off. Aeden went on to try & insult & belittle me by acting extremely unprofessional, questioning in what country the actual recipe is used. Dear Aeden, I requested them in Scotland & was served the proper formulation without having to tell them the ratios. It was only your establishment that watered down their drinks. He told me that the recipe on the back of the bottle was just a suggestion. Thankfully reception came through & resolved our issue in a professional manner. Hopefully he will learn from her example as how to properly handle one’s self. Overall the restaurant was a horrible experience. The food was not good & they are not accommodating in the slightest bit. Again, this is not a 4 star hotel. The room itself needed a deep clean. The baseboards in the bathrooms were dirty, as were the walls. The hand sprayer in the shower had mildew in it, please see photos. I would not stay here again & I would advise everyone to avoid.

Stayed here for two nights, Tuesday to Thursday. Hotel was spotless. Spa and pool area absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent. I definitely recommend the Lamb. Staff are top notch. Do visit Loch Fyne and Spa, you will not be disappointed.

We are just back from a fantastic 2 night spa experience at loch fyne hotel that I had booked as an early birthday treat for my husbands 60th birthday and we loved every minute of it , this was our first time visiting here but we will certainly be back in the future . The food was excellent breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea were all exceptional , compliments to the chef we each had a 25 minute back massage as part of our package and the spa and staff were so lovely they really put us at ease and made us feel so welcome , all the spa facilities were great . The staff in this hotel really go the extra mile , customer service is brilliant and amongst some of the best I’ve experienced in any hotel I’ve been too , nothing was too much trouble and there’s a lovely atmosphere about the place . The only small criticism I’ve got is although the room was clean and practical it could maybe be doing with some updating as it looked a bit tired with mark on ceiling , some marks on carpet , no safe or mini fridge that I’ve had in other 4 star hotels but this certainly would not stop me from visiting again . Thank you to all the staff for making our trip such an enjoyable one.

hotel was spotless !! staff where amazing !!! the family room we had was perfect for having a baby with us !!! the spa facilities where great !!!! highly recommend the breakfast at loch Fyne we had it both morning and there was plenty to choose from !! would definitely stay again !!! cocktails wir amazing

Whilst we only spent two nights at the hotel, it would have been good to spend more. There were so many positives, the food was excellent, the environment relaxed and that’s what we wanted. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the town, which also had various pockets of interest. The view of Loch Fyne, the castle iron bath, a great spa with an external hot tub. The only negative was there was no wardrobe in the room but it wasn’t a big deal.

I recently met a friend here for an evening meal. I last visited many years ago and first impressions this time were good as it had been renovated to a high standard in the bar and dining area. We were shown to our table and my first red flag was that the table beside us had a dog which kept jumping up on their seat. Then, when I looked around, there were dogs all over! I like dogs, but not in the indoor eating area of an expensive hotel. To my disgust, our waiter then fed the dog a biscuit out of his hand and I can only hope that he washed his hands thoroughly before handling food, plates and cutlery, but I suspect not. The food was decent enough (ridiculously expensive however and small portions) but the finger bowl for the mussels arrived well after them and there was no spare bowl to put the empty shells in. When the bill arrived, it included a 10% service charge and to add insult to injury the waiter asked us if we wanted to add a gratuity as well! There are far better places to eat in the village which are much cheaper and provide excellent food and service. I would suggest you try The George Hotel or the Samphire.

Very good overall spa package overnight stay. All staff friendly and welcoming. Professional service and great teamwork. Evening meal was excellent. Massage treatment was one of the best I’ve had. The bonus was the sun was shining! More than happy to recommend the hotel to friends.
