Additional parking is available in front of the house near the street. Please do not park on the septic field. Pamlico Sound and Scotch Bonnet Marina are nearby for inshore activities, boating, fishing, clamming etc. Hatteras Village and marinas are 4 miles south for off shore pursuits and free ferry to Ocracoke. Buxton and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse are 6 miles to the north. Shopping, groceries and restaurants are available in both and also nearby camp store in Frisco. Close to off road ramps 48 and 49 in Frisco. You need a permit from Park Service. The Hatteras Ferry Landing is 4 miles south with the free ferry to Ocracoke for a day trip. Also passenger ferry in the summer to Silver Lake Harbor. This house is great for families, couples, friends, surfers, wind surfers, kite boarders, fishermen, beach lovers and star gazers! With beautiful uncrowded beaches and clear waters Frisco stays a little warmer this far south and this close to the Gulf Stream. Try this house for you needs!
