Cute, Cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath house nestled in the trees by a lake. Reeder Lake House has elegance and charm perfect for a large family or group of fishermen on the Kenai Peninsula. We offer affordable rates with all the comforts of home. You are welcome to come and go as you please. Our house is fully furnished with a washer, dryer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. For exercise you are welcome to take a stroll around the lake on our water bike, pattle boat, or canoe (no life guard on duty) or drive a couple miles to beach comb at the Clam Gulch beach. We are also close to the Kasilof River (5 miles) and the world famous Kenai River (17 miles) for salmon fishing. The Reeder Lake House is the perfect spot to stay if you are planning to go Halibut fishing out of Ninilchik or need a place to stop and rest on your trip back from Homer. Our house can sleep up to 11 as long as you are ok with sharing 2 bathrooms. :) We have clean, comfortable rooms with wifi throughout the house and tv streaming devices in every room. The main floor has a kitchen/ dining room, living room, bathroom (with washer and dryer) and bedroom. The downstairs room has 1 queen bed. The upstairs has a large bedroom with a king and a queen bed, a bathroom (with jetted tub) and a sitting area with a futon coach bed on bottom and twin on top. There is also an additional attic room that has 2 twin beds and 1 full bed. This cozy, 900 sqft, 3 bedroom is located on the 2nd floor which enhances the views of majestic Mt Redoubt and Cook Inlet. Watch the sun set over the mountains and enjoy grilling your catch and eating on the patio out front. Beach access is a quick 5-minute walk from the door. Included is access to fish cleaning table and a small chest freezer to keep your fish frozen for your trip home. If we are around, we may be able to vacuum pack your catch on site cheaper than the commercial guys in town. All bedrooms have blackout blinds to make sure you get a good night sleep with summer midnight sun.Alaska's Kenai Peninsula is known for world class fishing, sightseeing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Our home is located 3 hours south of Anchorage and 45 minutes south of the Kenai Airport. This location is perfect for quick trips to Homer, Anchor Point, Ninilchik, Soldotna, Kenai and every river in between. This house is not conducive to individuals with mobility issues or young children as it is located upstairs with no elevator access. This is a no pet rental. This property is smoke free. We have a zero tolerance smoking policy, if we catch you smoking you will be asked to leave and we will refund you for your remaining days. We do require shoes to be removed before going upstairs due to the large quantity of sand.
