It faces Main Street in the heart of a Hallmark-type small town (population: 300). Downtown is only 1/2 mile away with unique shops, diners, landmarks. Brenham is 8 miles away. Formerly owned by artist Kiki Newmann, the cottage has been known as the “Healing House” for decades. It’s the perfect place to unwind, celebrate, and create cherished memories.This Victorian cottage is the epitome of old world charm blended with early American luxury. Upon arrival, you'll step onto the large front porch, adorned with gingerbread trim and rocking chairs. It’s the perfect spot for coffee, tea, and/or local wine while being surrounded by native pecan trees, wild grapes and garlic. The cardinals and bluebirds will welcome you with songs. You'll likely spot deer and fireflies too. You may even spot the local fox and armadillos. A sign from Germany welcomes (Willkommen) you as you as enter the stained glass front door, made in England.Inside, you'll marvel at the original shiplap walls, victorian sash windows, tin ceiling, antiques furnishing, and more. A drawing of the original owner, Mr. Charles Meister, is on the shiplap in the living room closet. Born in Germany in 1865, he became a prominent local figure in interior architectural ornamentation. His contributions are documented in scholarly works on Texas decorative arts.Chappell Hill is known for its historic architecture and cultural heritage. The town is located inside Stephen F.
