Obwohl es sich um ein neu eröffnetes Hotel handelt, hat es überhaupt keinen eigenartigen Geruch. Ihr Petrov-Shampoo und die Spülung riechen wirklich gut, die Bettwäsche ist die Art, die ich mag, mit mäßiger Weichheit und Festigkeit, und das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich. Die empfohlenen Pfirsichblütennudeln sind sehr lokal und müssen fünf Punkte wert sein!

GGastnutzerDas B&B ist einzigartig und sehr alt. Der Besitzer hat WeChat im Voraus hinzugefügt und den Parkplatzstandort mitgeteilt. Der Parkplatz ist zwar etwas entfernt, aber er hat dafür gesorgt, dass uns jemand abholt und uns auch beim Verlassen des Hotels zum Parkplatz bringt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr enthusiastisch und stellten uns den Reiseführer für die Altstadt vor und empfahlen einzigartige Geschäfte. Ich war mit diesem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und kann dieses B&B wärmstens empfehlen. 👍🏻

GGastnutzerService: Der Chef ist sehr begeistert, es gibt einen Abholservice vom Bahnhof. Der S-Bahnhof ist zwar nicht dabei, aber verständlich. Die Abholung am Busbahnhof hat viel Ärger erspart! Und der Chef hat uns persönlich dabei geholfen, die Roadmap auszugeben!
Ausstattung: noch relativ neu, der Wermutstropfen ist, dass das Badezimmer etwas durchnässt ist
Hygiene: Sehr sauber, Tante putzt sehr fleißig
Umgebung: Es ist wirklich ein ruhiger Ort inmitten des Trubels! Es liegt ganz in der Nähe der South Street, wo sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten konzentrieren, liegt aber in einer Gasse ohne kommerzielle Entwicklung und ist daher sehr praktisch
Diesmal ist die Reiseroute eng und viele wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden nicht besucht, aber es kann als Vorbote für den zweiten Besuch angesehen werden.
Insgesamt war es eine gute Unterkunftserfahrung (P.S. Inn hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht bei Nacht)

RRiyamA Step Back in Time: A Flawless Stay at a Historic Pingyao Retreat
Our stay at this exceptional traditional hotel in Pingyao was nothing short of magical. Originally an academy, the property has been beautifully restored and transformed into a serene boutique hotel that immerses you in Chinese history and culture without compromising comfort.
Location
Perfectly situated in a quiet area away from the crowds of the main tourist sites, the hotel offered a peaceful sanctuary after long days of exploring. The silence and calm added to the authenticity of the experience, as if we had truly stepped into another era.
Design & Atmosphere
The preservation of the original architecture and layout of the academy was breathtaking. Every detail of the hotel—from the wooden beams to the stone pathways—exuded historical charm. The sense of place was so strong that it felt like we were emperors transported back in time.
Room
We stayed in the Shuyuan Canopy Bed Suite, which was immaculate and exquisitely designed. The amenities were thoughtfully curated, blending modern convenience with traditional elegance. The canopy bed was a highlight, evoking a luxurious, regal atmosphere. We were particularly touched by the high-quality tea sets provided, which allowed us to enjoy our own private tea time in the comfort of the room.
Service
From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Free transportation from the train station was a seamless and much-appreciated touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Facilities
Every facility was carefully maintained and contributed to the overall harmony of the space. The hotel’s attention to detail extended to every corner, making for a deeply enriching and relaxing experience.
Breakfast
The only area with room for improvement was the breakfast. Served in a traditional 9-bowl box, it lacked variety and felt more like a school meal than a luxury experience. We would have loved more choices and the ability to select our dishes instead of receiving a pre-chosen set. With an upgraded breakfast service, this hotel would truly be flawless.
Final Thoughts
This stay was one of the most unique and memorable travel experiences we've ever had. A perfect blend of heritage, hospitality, and comfort. We would return in a heartbeat—and next time, hopefully with a breakfast experience to match the rest of the hotel’s excellence.

SSimpleTravelerGreat place in Pingyao. It is reasonably priced, a bit out of the very center (meaning also out of tourists crowds that can be quite noisy in the evenings and mornings), but still close, has same old-style design as the more popular and well-established places that cater to foreigners, but priced twice as much. Pick-up and drop off service is provided - just contact the hotel in advance via phone using the reception of tour previous hotel - no one speaks English - it will solve your communication issue if you do not speak Chinese. At the place itself everyone is very eager to help - use your phone app to translate. Onwer helped me to buy tickets to Pingyao attractions and Terracota Army as I was heading to Xian next (available only through WeChat Pay that is in turn is not availablefor foreign tourists as of April 2023). If you go to Shuanglin temple, be sure to ask to buy tickets through WeChat for you as well. I was able to buy physical one by pure compassion of local guard who asked the staff to open ticket office just for me (Probably was the only foreigner in Pingyao at a time). Please also note that as of April 2023, the reconstruction works in the historical city parts are continuing, so, large chunks of the city within the walls are not looking as great as it could have been. The very center of the city is mostly untouched though and you can still come and explore. If going in spring, be prepared for the temperature swings. I got a temperature drop from 28C to 3C within 2 days by the moment I got to Pingyao. It was even snowing at night.

VVERENA NADINEErstens: die Besitzer erhalten ein 10/10. sie sind ein altes Paar, super süß und versuchen, Ihnen den besten Aufenthalt möglich zu geben. Sie können nicht Englisch sprechen, was zu einem lächelnden Moment führte, als sie, wo die Chinesisch in Spanisch übersetzen, die wir nicht sprechen können.
Ein paar Dinge zu bedenken: die Zimmer sind klein, was normalerweise super gut für uns ist. Wir brauchen nicht viel Zimmer und Preis sowie Lage war großartig. Es wurde immer noch ein bisschen ein Problem in unserer Situation, da es regnete und die Zimmer sind direkt aus dem Außenbereich eingeschaltet. Wir taten das, da das zweite Zimmer noch immer ein Angebot alt, aber völlig akzeptabel für das alte Gebäude riecht. Das Zimmer war viel besser, obwohl es noch Staub auf einigen der Tische war, so dass wir es zuerst zerstören, bevor wir Dinge auf sie setzen.

MMattGuzmanSehr gutes Hotel, das Zimmer ist sehr schön im nordchinesischen Stil. Der Herr an der Rezeption ist unglaublich freundlich und hat mir früh das Zimmer gegeben und mir Tipps zur Lichtshow gegeben. Die Stadt ist wunderschön, aber ich finde sie sehr oberflächlich. Jeder macht Fotos, eine Cola kostet 8 Yuan ... Und außerhalb der Mauern gibt es alles zu chinesischen Preisen. Ich empfehle den Pass für 125 Yuan. Ich habe ausländische Touristen gesehen, die direkt für die Mauer 130 Yuan bezahlt haben. Wenn ich wiederkomme, würde ich wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

AAnonymer BenutzerDas B&B liegt in der antiken Stadt, direkt gegenüber der Fußgängerzone. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch. Es handelt sich um ein antikes Gebäude, das im antiken Stil dekoriert und sehr unverwechselbar ist. Das B&B verfügt über einen eigenen Reisefotografieladen und im kleinen Innenhof des B&B können Sie Blockbuster fotografieren. Es gibt auch einen Abhol- und Bringservice, was definitiv eine sehr gute Wahl für eine Unterkunft ist, wenn Sie die antike Stadt Pingyao besuchen.

AAnonymer BenutzerIch war mit dieser Reise sehr zufrieden. [Stark] Auf Reisen hoffe ich immer auf eine praktische Unterkunft. Die malerischen Orte in der antiken Stadt kann man zu Fuß über die West Street (Fußgängerzone) erreichen. Neben dem Service ist der Chef herzlich und freundlich aufmerksam. Während unseres Aufenthalts half er uns sorgfältig bei der Planung unserer Reiserouten. Alle Fragen, die wir hatten, wurden ausführlich beantwortet. Was die Umgebung der Unterkunft angeht, war die Umgebung sauber und ordentlich. In der Lobby des Gasthauses können Sie Fotos von Shanxi-Geschäftsfrauen machen . Es war sehr schön, im Innenhof zu fotografieren, besonders nachts. Es war sehr filmisch und ein tolles Erlebnis! Die Gesamtbewertung ist sehr zufriedenstellend [stark] [stark]!
