"Check in war sehr schnell und einfach. Sind auch nur Nachmittags besetzt von 15 bis 17 Uhr, was sehr ungewohnt kurz ist. Wir hatten im 1. Stock das Apartment 9, was sehr groß ist und es hatte sogar ein eigenes Wohnzimmer und eine Küche. Waschmaschine war sogar auch vorhanden. Das Apartment ist somit sehr zu empfehlen. Um 10 Uhr ist leider schon Check out und man wirft den Schlüssel einfach am Eingang von der Rezeption in einem Briefkasten rein. Parkplätze gab es auch kostenlos. Die Anlage liegt aber sehr gut am Anfang der kleinen Gemeinde und man kann somit zu Fuß sehr gut alle Restaurants und Cafés erreichen. Für ein Motel, ist es wirklich sehr gut und Apollo Bay ist wunderschön."

It felt more like a basic 3-star Airbnb, with no staff available and guests expected to handle tasks like washing their own dishes, which was quite inconvenient."

"The owner so lovely, we check in late and she prepare a drawing for us to find the room. The room is clean and we can feel it well maintain and the shampoo they provided smell good. Both of us very satisfied this stay will recommend to others who going to apollo bay. The bathtub got the massage function as well."

"We stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor. However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night. Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay. While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests."

"Das Zimmer ist sehr gut organisiert, ein Familienzimmer ist groß, aber insgesamt gut. Es gibt auch wenige Orte, die Heißwasser-Schlauch veraltet, die Klimaanlage veraltet die Kühlwirkung nicht gut, Bettwäsche ist etwas schmutzig und die Unterhosen sind nicht gut."
