The spacious, family-friendly (and pet-friendly) home is a quick 2-minute drive from the ski resort—with views of the slopes from our back windows. The updated farmhouse features: a large, well-equipped kitchen with a wood-burning fireplace and large dining table; comfy living room with widescreen, smart-TV; cozy family room with games, books and tranquil views of the yard, pond and surrounding hillside. The mudroom offers storage for boots, skis and other outdoor equipment, as well as a washer and dryer for your wet gear. And we have a single-car garage for easy loading/unloading in snowy weather. We are also just a few miles from snowmobile and ATV trails. In spring, summer and fall, hike or bike the trails at Elk Mountain or the expansive network of NEPA rail-trails. Paddle down one of the local creeks, play Frisbee golf at Prompton State Park, go antiquing in the nearby towns of Honesdale or Hawley, or just sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet.
