Ich übernachte zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer gefällt mir, es ist sauber und groß. Sehr komfortabel. Die Lage ist nicht in der Nähe eines Einkaufsviertels, aber es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Das Frühstück ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, es gibt viel Auswahl beim Frühstück.
Werde wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten, wenn der Preis stimmt, wenn ich wieder nach Malakka komme.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Schallisolierung nicht gut genug ist, man kann nachts das Schnarchen des Nachbarn hören.
Ich habe 2 Zimmer gebucht, aber wir können nicht nebeneinander übernachten.

Ging Genting vor Malacca. Ich hatte die gleiche Anfrage im Genting Hotel und in Hatten, aber nur Hatten erfüllte alle meine Voranfragen, als ich in 3 Zimmern eincheckte.
In der Nacht entschieden wir uns ziemlich spontan, eine weitere Nacht mit demselben Zimmertyp zu verlängern.
Das Hotelpersonal half uns, im selben Zimmer zu bleiben, ohne die Mühe zu haben, in ein anderes Zimmer umzuziehen.
Vielen Dank an das Hotelpersonal Amar, das mir für die verlängerte Nacht geholfen hat.

Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum, was für jeden Touristen sehr praktisch ist. Für jeden Gast stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen ganz in der Nähe, Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade, Afamosa, Melaka River Cruise, Malacca Tower und Jonker Street sind vom Hotel aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist eine sehr strategische Lage, wenn Sie die nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchten. Die hauseigenen Restaurants sind ebenfalls erschwinglich.
Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, aber einige Dinge könnten verbessert werden, wie die Schalldämmung der Haupttür und die Fehlfunktion des AC-Thermostats.
Die Aussicht vor dem Fenster ist wunderschön.

Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass wir im Bayview Hotel einchecken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Namen der Mitarbeiter sind Muhammad und Wafi. Der Check-in-Vorgang verläuft reibungslos. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit war der Raum perfekt vorbereitet. Wiederholung bestätigen. 😎❤️👍🏻

Das Einchecken per Telefon mit Fernbedienung draußen und den Schließfächern für den Schlüssel war neu für mich und fühlte sich etwas seltsam an. Mein Zimmer (Nr. 9) hatte ein Fenster mit Blick auf eine offene Grünfläche – herrlich. Die kombinierte Dusche/Toilette war gleich neben meiner Tür – so praktisch. Ich hatte sogar ein Waschbecken mit fließendem Wasser in meinem Zimmer. Das Bett war Queensize – etwas weich, aber bequem.

Room is within Pines Hotel. Room with twin beds is huge. There was also a sofa that could become a sofa bed. Good level of cleanliness for room and toilet. Had a small table in a partial kitchenette with a sink and small fridge. Bed was comfortable enough. Aircon worked well. Only local TV channels, not very good reception. Couldn’t connect to the wifi. Location wise, it’s next to a big main road on one side and the Melaka River on the other, about a 20min walk to Jonker St area. There’s an open air food court opposite (Wong Kok) with good Chinese food. Further down on the same side as the hotel, there’s a roti canai shop, a yong tau foo shop, a roti john shop and a minimart. Won’t go hungry. Buy your own water. Would recommend for the low price.

Insgesamt ist dies die beste Privatunterkunft, in der wir auf die Schnelle eine Nacht verbracht haben. Sehr zufrieden mit dem Service hier. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch und man kann draußen etwas essen oder in wenigen Minuten zum 99 Speedmart fahren, um Haushaltsprodukte zu kaufen. Wir werden wieder hier übernachten, wenn wir unerwartet nach Melaka fahren.

Hotel im Herze einer völlig unterschätzen Stadt.
Ich war eine Nacht in diesem Hotel auf der Durchreise. Obwohl die direkte Umgebung etwas heruntergekommen ist, liegt das Hotel sehr zentral um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen.
Viel Ausstattung (gutes Gym, Pool, Parkplatz,…).
Essen geschmacklich gut, Aussehen naja. (größeres Angebot wäre auch toll!)
Zimmer und Hotel sind an sich sehr schön!
ABER leider wird wenig Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt und das Hotel müsste dringend renoviert und modernisiert werden. Dachterasse absolut marode, Pool zwar an sich echt schön aber in schlechtem Zustand (Fließen wirken als wären Algen oder Schimmel drin), Restaurant dringend modernisierungsbedürftig.
Sauberkeit im Restaurant (dreckige Stühle, Tische werden nicht gewischt und Geschirr mit Essensrückständen) und wie vorher erwähnt der Poolbereich sind meiner Meinung nach unhygienisch.
Zimmer wirkte leider absolut nicht geputzt: dunkle Haare auf dem Nachttisch im Bad und im Bett ( ich bin blond), sehr dreckig unterm Bett, Ablagen leider auch nicht wirklich sauber und die Duschköpfe rostig(Tausch wäre nötig).
Abschließend kann ich sagen dass das Hotel an sich schön ist, eine gute Lage hat und an sich auch viel Ausstattung hat, aber im aktuellen Zustand einfach nicht zu empfehlen ist.
Etwas schade da man alles (leicht) beheben könnte….

AAnonymer BenutzerSchöne Aufenthaltsgestaltung. Ich wollte dieses klassische und das älteste Hotel in Malacca so lange versuchen und mein Mann beschloss, hier für mich und meinen Sohns Geburtstag dieses Jahr zu bleiben. Sehr gute Lage buchstäblich 5 Minuten von allen Attraktionen entfernt, 5 Minuten zu Jonker Walk & Museen. Die Dienstleistungen sind auch sehr beeindruckend. Sie lieferten kleinen, klückenden Schokoladekuchen und Deco für unsere Geburtstagszeiten im Zimmer. Mein Mann wurde auch mit seinem Rollstuhl unterstützt, da er nur eine Woche post auf war. Frühstück war ala carte-Stil, aber Sie können unbegrenzte Bestellungen haben. Malacca Curry Noodles war jung! Schwimmbad auch einfach, aber super schön meine Kinder lieben es. Das Zimmer Deco war klassisch und alles war perfekt! Hatte hier eine tolle Aufenthaltsdauer und hat es sogar unseren Familienmitgliedern empfohlen. GGastnutzerDiesmal habe ich in einem Zimmer mit Meerblick übernachtet. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind vom Sicherheitsdienst bis zum Rezeptionsservice sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt ruhig mitten im Trubel und nicht weit von der Jichang-Straße entfernt. Es ist ein sehr gutes Aufenthaltserlebnis.

First, the water from the sink looked orange. So we were too scared to use it for washing let alone drinking. We had to rely on the provided bottled water.
Second, the toilet was outside of the room (we booked a garden room). So we had to sit in heat and mosquitos whenever we used the toilet.
Additionally, we didn't like that they insisted on paying the deposit which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or room information. We also had some communication issues when getting back the deposit after check out as the staff couldn't speak English and had to call another staff to understand what was going on.

MmiooI recently spent one night at the Asiatic Hotel in Malacca and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within short driving distance of key attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys, making it a good base for sightseeing.
The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca.
If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.

YYKSee90I recently stayed at Hotel Tamara Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights. While the hotel looked new, clean, and modern from the outside and the lobby area was quite stylish and spacious. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t go entirely smoothly.
🚪 Check-In & First Impressions
The check-in process was fine, and the hotel interior looked polished, with a clean reception area and bright decor. The staff were polite and attentive, which I appreciated.
🚽 The Main Issue: Toilet Smell
However, the biggest issue during my stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the toilet in our initial room. I reported it to the front desk, and they quickly sent housekeeping to clean it thoroughly, which I appreciated. Sadly, even after cleaning, the smell returned later that evening when we came back from dinner.
We requested a room change, but the hotel was fully booked that night. The only available option was a twin bed room, which wasn’t ideal, but we had no choice as the toilet smell was really unbearable. Thankfully, the second room was much better. Clean, no odor, and everything worked as expected. I’m glad the hotel team managed to accommodate our request despite being full.

• Twin bed instead of a king, not ideal, but understandable due to availability

Overall, this was not the most pleasant hotel stay due to the room issue. However, I do give credit to the staff for trying their best to help. If maintenance improves and the rooms are better checked before guests arrive, the hotel has good potential.
Rating: 6.5/10
I might consider staying again, but only if I’m assured of a properly maintained room.

SSteven00169Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Das Äußere und die Hotellobby sehen großartig aus, aber das Innere ist weniger beeindruckend. Der Korridor riecht stark nach Feuchtigkeit. Das Hotel kannte das Problem und installierte viele Luftentfeuchter und Diffusoren, um den starken Geruch zu überdecken. Unser Zimmer befand sich am äußersten Ende des Korridors (ich musste etwa 30 Sekunden lang durch den gesamten stinkenden Korridor von der Lobby des Aufzugs laufen), das Badezimmer war nicht so sauber und gepflegt wie erwartet. Die Badewanne sieht aus, als wäre sie viele Jahre benutzt worden und die Oberfläche war, dem Design entsprechend, uneben und sehr rutschig. Ich werde wahrscheinlich andere Hotels wählen, wenn ich noch einmal nach Melaka fahre.

Room is clean and nice except the aircon is centralised air conditioning and cannot adjust the temperature. Room is rather warm (around 26 degrees). Requested for a standing fan but it’s not available.

- Located at the entrance of Jonker Street, and walking distance to the center of the historical city ... the main advantage
- food outlets are as close as next door, Hard Rock Melaka is just around the corner
- clean room and bathroom
- access into the premise, to the specific floor and to the room by card only
- filtered water (hot and cold) is provided at the ground floor
- good soundproofing between rooms and corridor
- basic amenities are provided, others can be requested
- brief check-in and check:out process
Cons
- no parking is a major disadvantage given if you are traveling with young children or senior citizen. Also it is not easy to find public carparks in this part of the town
- fridge available but takes forever to chill
- noises from the Jonker and loud music from trishaws can be heard ... but not so much of a cons if considering choosing the location for the lively atmosphere. There's always a middle room with no window if one prefers a quiet room

The air condition is really cold and blanket is not really thick which makes me freezing overnight, thank god I got my bf to warm me.
The towels are not recommended to use cuz it looks dirty and used before.
The floor is a bit sticky but acceptable, wish next time can provide a slipper.
The area is not noisy during our staying and the water dispenser is working but not produce hot water.
There’s a pharmacy downstairs so it’s convenient to buy smt u need, oso 7-11 and a burger stall nearby.
In conclusion, u get what u paid for.
