Ali was a delightful host in the Aussie Outback. We enjoyed her hospitality and history of the area. She makes you feel as though it's a home away from home. The Aussie breakfast in the morning was delicious and we'll be back next time we're in the "neighborhood."

Lucky to have found the gem! Beautiful country style homestead accommodation! Cosy and very clean, with a lovely rustic charm, our room was great! Ali, our host and owner was absolutely lovely and friendly. Made us a fantastic big breakfast and we enjoyed lots of chats! Will be back next year hopefully! Do yourself a favour and stay with Ali.. you won’t be disappointed!

This was an unexpected surprise. Ali was a wonderful host. We loved the rustic charm and hospitality. Loved sitting at the front drinking my evening and morning cuppa. The 2 course meal of steak, mash and veggies was huge and dessert also home made was delicious, cheese cake. Ali was warm and friendly felt like we were good friends from the start. I hope we meet again.

If you want an authentic outback experience that is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and kinda like it used to be, stay here. What a legend hostess Ally is. She's super friendly and helpful but like most outback women wears many hats - she's a mum, a horsewoman, does school of the air and runs this place. Home cooked meals available, tea on tap and don't miss the generous cooked breakfasts. We were stuck here because the Strezlecki closed due to flooding and Ally made our stay special. Forget the corporate alternative and stay with Ally.

Host, Ally, does a marvellous job with the hospitality at this home stay in innaminka. We had good, clean and comfortable accommodation, with ensuite. After a week or more on the road on the outback, where we mainly stayed in motels, it was a pleasure to have a decent home-cooked meal, shared around the table with other people staying there. Recommend this for outback travellers, especially as an alternative to the motels along the way, where they all serve up the same pre-pared and boring menu of food .

Ally presents a very comfortable, clean and charming stay in Innamincka. After spending 3 weeks travelling from Birdsville to Alice Springs, Uluru, Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) and the Clare Valley, we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Cooper Creek Homestay - probably one of the nicest places we stayed at - good food, clean, friendly and very different to the usual Hotel rooms and cabins (Dongas) we had experienced on our journey. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We had a double room with on-suite and had Ally's home cooked dinner and breakfast.
