Although the hotel LOOKS nice and is well designed, it is so poorly operated and managed it really ruined our stay. It all started at checkin when on my booking I had requested two adjoining or adjacent rooms as we have 4 small kids and total 7 in our party. I was given two rooms on two different floors. It wasn't until I complained loudly and explained my written request that they finally accommodated us. They only gave us one key for each room and since the room requires a card key for power and air con I asked for an additional key to which they wanted more money. It went down hill badly from there. When we got to the room the kids quickly realized that both rooms doors never locked and anyone could just walk in our rooms without a key. (This was recurring throughout the stay) Next was that the room air con remotes didn't work because the batteries were dead. Next were the non working TV's. And then the broken safe. Then the non working refrigerators. After that was the non-existent hot water. That one really pissed me off as the staff decided that I was an ***** that didn't know how to operate a faucet and they were going to teach me how to turn it on after I had waited over 10 + minites for hot water in the shower, bathtub and sink. How insulting and belittling to me to think that I don't know how to turn on hot water. Ultimately the hot water that evening was at only 37c. The errors continued throughout the evening until bed with the room, towels, internet, etc. During that evening I asked to speak to a manager about my issues as they were far too numerous but I was told there wasn't one available until Friday. So I told them I wanted an appointment on Friday. Our next morning we went to the restaurant for our included breakfast. Although there were 9 workers from my count and only 4 guests we got zero service at all. Not to mention the food was all cold. Their selection was purely Philippino and very few options either. My kids had toast for breakfast. We then went swimming in their pool. It's a nice view there on top but unfortunately there were no towels for us and the bathrooms were disgusting with no way for us to wipe or clean ourselves. Can't imagine how many get back in the pool like that. Surprisingly, they did have hot water there. When we returned to the room, none of our room keys worked for either room. We got news keys again. Then as we were getting ready to leave I realized that one of the keys they gave me could actually open ANY ROOM IN THE HOTEL. I asked one of the front desk people to accompany me while I showed them and they KNEW they had given me a master key and were ok with it. What ??? Later that morning we left for the day and returned at 430pm. I anticipated meeting the manager upon my return but unfortunately they arrived at 2 and left at 4 and they decided since I left the hotel I didn't need the manager anymore. Upon returning to the room we found out that the room doors were unlocked

Wir haben in diesem Hotel gebucht, weil es ein Familienzimmer hat und wir noch nie hier waren. Wir hatten nicht viel erwartet, da der Preis unter unseren anderen Angeboten am günstigsten war. Allerdings waren wir ein wenig erstaunt darüber, was es zu bieten hat, vom zuvorkommenden und hilfsbereiten Personal bis hin zum geräumigen und sauberen Familienzimmer. Das Zimmer war, glaube ich, ungefähr 40 m² groß, mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem Sofa, einem kleinen Tisch mit Gläsern, Tassen und Untertassen, einem Smart-TV mit WLAN-Verbindung sowie einer Toilette und Badewanne, einer Terrasse und einem weiteren Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett Bett und eigener Toilette und Bad sowie Terrasse. Es gab zwei Klimaanlagen, eine im Hauptraum und die andere im Hauptschlafzimmer. Im Badezimmer gab es Toilettenartikel, Handtücher, Dusche und Bidet. Es gab weder einen Kühlschrank noch einen Ofen, aber einen Wasserkocher und Begrüßungsgetränke (Wasser und Kaffee😁). Das Gebäude war ziemlich alt, aber überraschend sauber, ebenso die Vorhänge, Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Es gab einen Aufzug, der zu unserer Etage führte. Draußen gibt es einen Swimmingpool, eine Bar, ein Café und ein Restaurant, aber wir konnten keines davon erkunden, da wir so aufgeregt waren, durch die Stadt zu schlendern, da das Hotel im Stadtzentrum von Iloilo liegt. Die Lage war sehr gut erreichbar, da der Jeep von Jaro in die Innenstadt neben anderen Jeepneys vor dem Hotel vorbeifährt. Auch die Gaisano City Mall, die St. Clements Church und viele Einkaufszentren auf der anderen Seite sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Location is good if you want to travel within Iloilo city. Super accessible for everything. Deluxe room is so spacious and comfortable. Lobby is the best. Crew is super bait and accomodating. Resto besides the hotel is super good. Price is cheap but the serving is super madami and offcourse food is super namit. Highly recommended for staycation also. If you want to have a party at night place is super suitable. Thank you Mo2 for the very relaxing place.🥰

I'm so pleased that I chose this hotel to stay at. I arrived with a stomach bug and was feeling quite ill. A few minutes after I called the front desk to request for late checkout, the desk supervisor, Erica, called me to graciously ask how I was doing and offered to send me some soft food and even some hydration salts. I declined the food but gladly accepted the Hydrite. I was so pleased with this gesture on Erica's part that I immediately felt at home and extended my stay for two more days. This hotel is first class. It's super clean all around, including the rooms. It's simply a well-managed place. The restaurant food and service was superb (food was at hotel prices, as expected, but breakfast buffet was free). Excellent wait staff. I highly recommend the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and I will certainly be back.
