The location is excellent. And the place is nice. Only that we were already accomodated at the annex. So we have to walk a little to the Annex building. The annex building is good but I can notice that that floor and stairs wasn't waxed for quite a time already. And furnitures and CR are already dusty. The Room for family is nice only that it doesn't have a CR. You have to go out everytime you need to go to the CR.

I stayed at Le Dream Hotel when it was first open. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made sure to cater to my every needs. The rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and the air conditioning was heavenly in the Philippines hot weather. Also, super comfortable pillows and blankets! Lastly, the food and drinks were amazing and super fresh. Would definitely recommend going here for your next Vigan stay!

Das beste über das Hotel ist seine Ruhe und lange Entfernung vom Bust des nahe gelegenen Vigan. Das Personal ist freundlich, immer lächelnd und hilfsbereit. Das geplautete Frühstück ist gut. Sie können den nahe gelegenen Strand von wo das Restaurant ist sehen. Aber als ich da war, war das Dachbereich Alfredo geschlossen. Es ist nicht das nächste Hotel am Strand. Sie müssen 10 Minuten zu Fuß, um zum Strand zu gelangen. Der Pluspunkt ist sein Hotel. Es ist an der Nähe des Hauses des Eigentümers gelegen, aber das Personal erklärte mir, dass es gut ist, es zu verwenden, weil es eine der Einrichtungen des Hotels ist. Der Nebenteil ist der Transport von Vigan. Wenn Sie kein Auto haben, sind Sie mit den Tricycles verlassen. Die Fahrer sind nicht die ehrlichste über den Preis. Wenn Sie sie fragen, werden sie Ihnen sagen, dass so niedrig wie 100 pesos bis so hoch wie 150 pesos. Also beachten Sie. Besser fragen Sie den Fahrer, bevor Sie die Fahrt. Ich kann es Freunden und Familien mit Autos empfehlen, aber nicht mit den Rückpackern und den Einzelreisenden ohne Auto.

Hotel Mercante was such a great part of my fun, peaceful, safe, educational, and rejuvenating stay in Vigan (Jan. 29-31, 2024). I had been skeptical at first about the 4.5 (out of 5) average rating that the hotel has received so far from Trip Advisor reviewers. After all, there are many other more popular (higher-rated and understandably higher-priced) options for accommodations in the city. But having enjoyed the Hotel Mercante experience myself, I do recommend the place for no-fuss travelers like me, who simply want a safe, clean, quiet, and efficiently run hotel. More than the basic amenities, however, there is something truly commendable about the hotel’s staff and management, with their warmth, care, and professionalism. Of course, hotel employees are trained to smile and to be polite, helpful, and efficient. But in my interactions with the Hotel Mercante team, I sensed a sincerity and an unobtrusive desire to be of assistance that is beyond the call of duty. Early on (before I had even set foot in Vigan or met anyone there in person), I had been relieved and grateful for the prompt and kind email responses I got from Hotel Mercante while I was searching online for accommodation options. I had emailed other hotels, but the responses from HM (particularly, Solenn and Sofie, Front House Associates) were not only prompt but also written in the friendliest and most professional tone. They courteously and clearly answered all my email inquiries. They were also considerate enough to offer the best room-rate options available, which meant a lot to a 60-year-old solo traveler like me. I also had fun getting some quick lessons on basic Ilocano phrases from Stan (the night guard, who welcomed me when I arrived early in the morning) and Sean (front desk officer, though perhaps his position may be higher—I met him the day I was leaving). “Agyamanak, ading!” (Thank you, young man/woman) and “ag pagna pagna” (just strolling or walking around to relax and enjoy the sights) will, from now on, be part of the limited Ilocano vocabulary close to my heart. I am also grateful to Sarah (front desk), Steve (housekeeping), Paige (Cantina Mercante), Shea, Suzy, and others whose names I wasn’t able to get. For solo travelers and for families or groups, Hotel Mercante is value for your money. But most of all, it is value for your (even more precious) time and trust. It may not be the most popular or most expensive/trendy/classy hotel in Vigan, but all I really needed was a place for homey, clean, safe, quiet, reasonably priced and very conveniently located accommodations—with excellent service and heartwarming staff. And I definitely, thankfully, got all that at Hotel Mercante.

Schöne Lage und die Mitarbeiter sind untergebracht. Dies ist meine erste Einzelreise und ich genossen es. Ich blieb nur für 1 Nacht, konnte aber die berühmte Calle crisolo besuchen.Testiert der Fuß langer Größe empanada von Casa Jardin. Rode die Calesa und hatte eine kurze Tour der historischen Orte in Vigan. Manong Fahrer war sogar extra freundlich, mich zum direkten Hersteller von Bagnet Irma's zu nehmen. Ich konnte auch nach Baluarte gehen und hatte so viel Spaß ! Danke, dass man essen hat, die immer ein lächelndes Gesicht und sehr aufmerksam auf die Bedürfnisse des Kunden hatte. Ich konnte ihren Namen nicht bekommen. 😅 Von der Zeit, als ich ankam, half sie mir, meine Sachen in mein Zimmer zu bringen. Sie hat mir sogar die Tür geöffnet, als ich nach dem Kauf vieler Passalubong zurückkam. 😁 Wird sicher zurückgehen! 😊👌

Es regnete hart, als wir diesen Ort erreichten und der Parkplatz begann zu überschwemmt zu werden. Es gab kein Personal, um die Gäste zu begrüßen oder um die Umbrellen anzubieten, um uns vor dem Niedergang zu schützen. Das Hotel ist nicht in der Stadt Vigan. Wir wurden zu unserem Zimmer von einem Hotelhilfer, der uns mit unseren Gepäck unterstützt hat. Hübscher und lustiger Kerl. Essen wurde typisch die Ilocano-Wege gemacht. Ich bin gewöhnt an den Geschmack und die Art, wie es vorgestellt wurde. Was ich sehr besonders ist, war die wiederholte Banana, die angeboten wird Dessert, entweder kocht, karamelliert oder sehr reif serviert. Unsere Handtücher wurden nie für die 4D/3N wir blieben. Sie vermuteten gerade, wir kümmerten uns nicht, weil wir uns nicht um eine neue Set kümmerten. Das Telefon in unserem Zimmer hat keinen Dial Ton. Das Badezimmer exudes ein unbehaglicher Geruch in einer bestimmten Stunde der Nacht. Aber insgesamt fühlten wir uns begrüßt, als wir länger geblieben waren. Wir wurden über die Zeit erlaubt, mit unseren Sozialisten fortzufahren. Das Personal lässt uns nur während unsere Herzen singen. Sie waren sehr freundlich und verständlich. Wenn wir von Zeit zu Zeit kleine Dienstleistungen anfordern. Vielleicht bleiben Sie hier nächstes Mal wieder.

This hotel is a MUSEUM. Beautiful paintings and other incredible art collections line the hallways. Staying here feels like living in an art museum. The staff is amazing as well! They are polite, friendly and helpful. They serve excellent breakfast. I had the best Filipino breakfast in Vigan. This is the best hotel in Vigan Heritage Village so far! I travelled solo, but I would recommend this hotel to couples, friends and families.

Großer Ort, um zu bleiben, wenn Sie in Vigan reisen, vor allem bei Calle Crisologo. Komfortables Essensbereich und einladende Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfreich. Es serviert authentische Ilocano-Essen für Frühstück. Es wird bald wieder in diesen sehr historischen Ort kommen.
