Ich blieb am 13. Januar 2022 im Blowfish Hotel. Es wurde als vier-Sterne-Hotel angekündigt. Die Unterzeichnung war unkompliziert und das Rezeptionspersonal war hilfreich und effizient. Ich buchte ein Deluxe-Zimmer und wurde dort aufgenommen. Das Zimmer war gut - nett, gemütlich und geräumig. Der Klimaanlage arbeitete. Das Bett war komfortabel. Es war schön, im Zimmer ein Bad zu haben sowie eine Dusche. Also, da all das, warum verdient es nur eine Rating von 3? Nun, weil man bei der Buchung eines vier-Sterne-Hotels nicht nur eine Unterkunft von guter Qualität erwarten kann - man erwartet auch ein vier-Sterne-Hotel mit Blick auf und Aufmerksamkeit auf Details. Das war leider fehlt. Erstens, nachdem ich in den letzten 40 Jahren in verschiedenen Hotels von unterschiedlicher Qualität geblieben bin, ist das das erste Mal, dass ich in einem Raum geblieben bin, in dem kein einziges Kleid hängerte. Zweitens bin ich ein Teetrunker. Die einzigen Getränke, die ich geliefert hatte, waren Taschen Kaffee und grüner Minte Tee (yuk!) so ging ich und kaufte einen regelmäßigen schwarzen Tee. Drittens, da das Bad auch eine Dusche ist, gibt es eine feste Platte die Hälfte der Badlänge, die den einfachen Zugang zu den Tappen und bedeutet, wenn Sie nicht sehr lange Arme haben, können Sie das Bad-Plug in oder auf das Wasser wechseln, ohne in das Bad zu kommen - ein Versuch, zu sehen, ob Sie richtig vermutet haben und das Wasser aus dem Fässer oder dem Duschekopf kommt. Glücklicherweise habe ich es richtig. Viertens sagen sie bei der Ankunft, dass es Zimmerservice gibt und leer sagen, wo das Frühstück serviert wird, aber es gibt keine Informationspackung oder Zimmerservice im Zimmer. Das wäre hilfreich und würde wahrscheinlich mehr Zimmerservice-Einnahmen generieren. Das Frühstück war nur ok, obwohl die Karte, die Sie bei der Ankunft erhalten, sagt das Frühstück wird ab 6am serviert - es ist nicht,,, es ist 7am. Die Mädchen an der Rezeption erwähnten das mir, aber vielleicht sollte es auch auf der Zimmer Schlüsselkarte reflektiert werden, um jegliche Verwirrung zu vermeiden. Schließlich war das Fernsehen Zeitverschwendung. Ich denke, es waren fünf oder sechs Kanäle verfügbar und drei von ihnen hatten ein 'fuzzy' Bild. Wirklich? Ein vier-Sterne-Hotel? So. alles in allem ein schöner Ort, gute Unterkunft, schöne Service aber der Teufel ist im Detail. Für viele Menschen werden diese Fragen eine kleine Ablenkung sein. Für mich ist der Unterschied zwischen niedrigeren und höheren Qualitätshotels Aufmerksamkeit auf diese Art von Details. Kleine Dinge bedeuten viel. Gut, aber müssen besser!!
