"The hotel parking is located in the open space next to the church, but you can only park for a maximum of 9 hours. If you exceed this time, you can't pay for additional parking. We weren't able to move our car in time and received a 25 euro fine. The hotel itself is in an excellent central location."

"We stayed in this hotel in September 2025 as part of a trip to visit fallen relatives in Flanders. The hotel was ideally located in the main square about 500m from the Menin Gate. There is no parking but you can park in the public car parks which are free overnight. You just need to be sure to pay up to 6pm and be there for 9am to pay if you are not leaving. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean; we plumped for a larger room which overlooked the square. However, one of our party went for the standard room which was very small. The beds we’re comfortable, the room was kept clean and tidy and a coffee making machine was provided. Breakfast was very good with a choice of continental or a cooked breakfast. The only downside to this hotel: the public areas close at 6pm. There is a restaurant and a bar with an outside sitting area but it all closes at that time. We came down at 6pm the first evening and asked for a drink, which was reluctantly served but we were put in no doubt that this would not be a regular thing. I found it astonishing that a hotel in the main square of a town that must get millions of visitors every year, closes it door to guests and residents alike."

"These brand-new rooms are located on Boterstraat, a stone's throw from the Grote Markt. The Menin Gate is just over five minutes away, and you can park for free at Minneplein, which is a 450-meter walk away. We had the 'Family Father' room, which means you have to climb three steep flights of stairs and another flight of stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The rooms were clean and modern with coffee facilities. Power outlets are available next to the beds. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit on the thick side. And the space around the bed was a bit cramped. The friendly host sent a WhatsApp message on the day of arrival with the codes to get in, which worked perfectly. From the balcony, you have a view of the Cloth Hall and the cathedral. Unfortunately, breakfast is not available there, but there are plenty of options nearby. There was one hook in the bathroom; otherwise, there was nothing to put your clothes or belongings on."

Frau Jo, die Gastgeberin, war wunderschön; chattig, freundlich und sehr hilfreich, vor allem mit der arrangieren sichere Lagerung für mein Fahrrad. Sie hat uns sehr willkommen gemacht und wir genossen unserem Aufenthalt"

"Nettes Hotel liegt direkt außerhalb von Ieper. Gute Lage für einen Besuch in der Gegend. Sehr schöne sehr saubere Hotelzimmer. Wir waren im neuen Teil des Hotels in einem separaten Gebäude in der Nähe des Hauptgebäudes. Frühstück war gut, sehr frisch und reichhaltig zu wählen."
