"Really excellent choice. Staff were really helpful, the room was good and the location was perfect. Near enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. The only criticism was that the wifi was weak and it took forever to send emails, don’t think about downloading anything."

"Das kleine Hotel hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Hafen. Unser Standardzimmer und das Bad waren recht einfach, aber hell, modern und sauber. Für den recht hohen Zimmerpreis hätte ich etwas mehr Komfort erwartet. Super ist die Dachterrasse, auf der das gute Frühstück serviert wird. Wissen sollte man, dass das Hotel nur über 34 sehr steile Stufen erreicht werden kann."

"Wir hatten Zimmer 3. Das ist gross und geräumig, das Bett aber schmal. Die Matratze war uns viel zu hart. Leider hört man über die Fenster recht früh um 7-8 Unr schon die Aktivitäten auf der Gasse. Frühstück grosszügig und mit Dachterrassenblick. Personal sehr freundlich 👍"

"That is the place to stay at Hydra. The rooms as neatly decorated, updated and comfortable. Every room has its own personality. Personnel is a bit more laid back than you would expect from this level of hotel, but we were off season. View is not a main feature of this hotel, but it still has plenty to offer as a place of rest."

"We spent several days at the hotel but didn’t stay there - we had a villa nearby. The dinner we had at the Captain M restaurant was excellent, and I would definitely suggest coming here even just for a meal. The hotel is meticulously and impeccably maintained. Everything was clean and in order although it was the end of the season and there were only a handful of guests. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The location and atmosphere are unparalleled- in a small bay just a 20 minute walk from Hydra town. A sea shuttle is available if you don’t want to walk… this is a great beach resort on a lovely Island."
