where to begin? So, let's start positive. The food was nice, a good variety, so everyone had something they enjoyed. The cleaners were so lovely, very hard-working people, and they never failed to smile at us as we passed, which felt very welcoming. Location wise, it's very nice. Conveniently, the beach is very close to the hotel, which we found good for popping back and forth. For days out, i recommend "Gülce" which does very nice lahmacun, pizza, chicken strips (picky eater friendly!), and the turtle beach/mud bath boat trip! we had such a great time feeding turtles and coating each other in mud (it's nicer than i make it sound)! the stray cats, too! obviously, you shouldn't encourage feeding them on hotel premises, but we liked to take some meat and drop a few bits for them. No cat should go hungry, right? It was just a cute thing to do. Now, heres where the stars drop. The photographer was really rude. He constantly pestered us about photos despite us politely telling him no, on multiple occasions. He followed us around the hotel with that stupid camera. Honestly, he was like a wasp at a picnic that doesn't buzz off !! He then proceeded to call me 'rude' because he shoved a camera in my face demanding photos, and i said "no thank you, i dont want my photo taken." Another thing, AVOID.THE.BEAUTY.SALON.DOWNSTAIRS. trust me, avoid it. i went with my mum to get our nails redone (we went with gel polish and wanted a new set) . We waited about 20 minutes for the guy to actually show up, which we didn't mind because there were few staff around, anyway. But, he started picking the gel off my mums nail, and when i say pick, i mean with a litral blade. she proceeded to tell him no, and to leave it, but he continued with multiple strange objects to 'remove' the polish. we wanted the gel polish removing, not our nail beds . Then the man went on about how it's our fault, that we dont eat enough vitamins. (My mum is a nurse, so she has weak nails via washing them constantly, and she isn't unhealthy at all) . yeah, totally a lack of nutrition and not the fact you took a dremel to the nail. Anyway, we ended up leaving with a bleeding finger nail, so unless you want stump fingers, dont go. Another thing that bothered us was the dinner staff. They were helpful and polite with finding tables and fetching things for us. But, these weren't the staff that bothered us. It was the ones that stood winking at you and making strange noises when you walked past them. We tried to brush it off as if they were being friendly, but theres a fine line between manners and harrasment. Overall the rooms were nice, except we asked for 2 rooms of 4. Instead, we got 4 rooms of 2. Which caused the family to split up awkwardly. The reception staff struggled with english, to the point i had to use Google translate to ask about the laundry. So, you have to be very patient . In conclusion, the stay was decent, just the staff massively let it down. sidenote: Please, please, please
