Dorado Ibiza - Adults Only

What a fantastic hotel. Stayed their with my wife. It was her birthday and Alba the manager went above and beyond to make it special. Infact all the staff were fantastic. Rooms were spot on and location is ideal. Highly recommended for those looking for a luxury hotel with excellent facilities and great staff. We will certainly be going back next year.

We just returned from a week at the Dorado Ibiza (September 2023). The property is a small, funky (music theme), boutique hotel located directly on the beach with a pool; it checks all the boxes for us (two couples). It's clean, well maintained and fun. The employees were all courteous; some were friendly/lovely. The rooms are large, all suites, with one of the best showers (plenty of water pressure and all the hot water you could want) and a cool kitchenette. The breakfast was delicious. Lovely pool. What, you may be thinking, is the "but" in the title? Well. The thing is that the management of this property is very focused on "operations" (like a Swiss train)... *each guest is provided one pool towel at a time, no ifs ands or buts (you can exchange your towel but you will not have one to lay on and one to dry with) *breakfast (including coffee) starts precisely 9 and ends promptly at 11 *the bar and poolside food opening at noon (which do not overlap with the cleanup after breakfast!) are the same (no food to be ordered after 4:15). If you want something a bit outside the strict limits/hours and you are courteously but firmly rebuffed. Now if this were a discount property, I could perhaps excuse the apparent fiscal austerity but it's not. It is the way this hotel is managed. I travel a lot for business. There are hotels that are customer focused (whatever you want they will go out of their way to make it happen) and hotels that are "operations focused", this is the latter...

Loved the Dorado Sea view suite. It’s very spacious and enjoyed the beach view from room and balcony. Kitchen has pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, electric kettle, stove, toasters, refrigerator etc. glass plates could be cleaner and kitchen towels/tissues could be provided. Bathroom amenities are good. Bed, pillows, couches are very comfortable. Rooms were neat and clean. Check in & check out was very efficient. We arrived earlier than check in time, gave us the room within 20 mins. Marina is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend this hotel. Just back from an amazing few days in Ibiza. Loved Dorado, such a lovely small hotel and considering you are so close to everything in Playa D'en Bossa it is soooo quiet at night in the hotel. Room was lovely, and everything finished with a high standard. Staff were all lovely and attentive. No complaints at all. One suggestion though, maybe having some sort of shower room for those guests who have late flights. Alot of flights leaving Ibiza are in the evening and not being able to shower after a day in the sun isn't that pleasant, we made do obviously but a little cubicle would be a great little add! Other than that i would definitely recommend and say i had the best time ever!!

Excellent hotel with amazing vibe, on the beach. Large spacious room with sea view balcony. Highly recommend for for the price and large clean room with amazing bath and living space. Hotel is on the beach, so it all that you need to go around and enjoy the day.

Came here in October for a short family break. Gorgeous sun rises/sunsets and situated on the beach. There’s a small town type thing walking distance although not much there but we found a McDonald’s. Outside of the hotel was a cafe type place which had food for all mealtimes. Other than that there wasn’t much there at all. Hotel was empty although stated fully booked on our dates. Pool is small with no steps to get in or out so we did not use it. Could use hotel nextdoor which was slightly busier and had steps in pool. If your looking for a quite place to stay I would recommend this hotel but if your looking to stay somewhere more lively I’d definitely look elsewhere.

Amazing hotel!!! Brilliant!! We stayed here 8 of us, and were wowed the moment we arrived…. Stunning setting, clean, classy and pool looked awesome, leading out onto the sea front!! Receptionist always very helpful, (compliments to lady with braids in hair) very friendly and warm welcome. The rooms are given so much detail, our favourite was as we walked into our room (the Bruce Springsteen room)…. Popped the room key in and on a little record player started playing ‘dancing in the dark’….. rooms huge and speaker system you can hook up to was impressive! We are at the hotel too, really nice - the food all comes from next door santos hotel where you grab breakfast which was great too, and for a more upbeat poolside then you can use this hotel too…. We liked the chill vibe of dorado as it played great music all day by the poolside. The resident security guard ‘Ragna’ was very friendly too…. This hotel is right in the thick of play den bossa, just a throw away from Bora Bora bars, and the clubs….. a walk to Ushuaia and Hi meant no taxis needed! Thanks from all of us that stayed, everything about the place and 3 night stay we had was perfection and we had the best time possible!! We will definitely be coming back to stay again……

We stayed here on the 6th of April. Alejandro who checked us in was extremely friendly and welcoming. He showed us to the room and explained where we can find everything. The entire hotel team 10/10. A gentleman on check out offered to order us a taxi that arrived in minutes. Great place to stay!

Personal are the best! Nice rooms. Have a good time there.
