A lovely experience in Huntingdon. My girlfriend and I found this victorian GEM by sheer luck. We called to say we were arriving late and Nancy who is the care taker of the house was quick to answer! She even called back when I mistakenly booked the wrong dates. We highly recommend this bnb. Each room is decorated differently, the tiling and decorative woodwork is a marvel to see. When we arrived we spent time adoring the details of the house; the multi-articulated wooden shutters and beautiful banister while drinking our tea and finished the evening on the couch looking through census records about the town and a classic book of the most American painter, Norman Rockwell. Nancy made a generous meal and let us spend a bit of time relaxing before getting back on the road. THANKS NANCY & GAGE MANSION! Xoxo

We stay at Gage Mansion every time we visit our daughter on campus at Juniata. There are a variety of accommodations to fit our needs depending on the visit. Mary is a wonderful innkeeper and makes a fabulous, hearty breakfast. The rooms are well equipped with individual AC/heat units. It's always quiet and easy to sleep. Overall, a great option in Huntingdon! Can't recommend it highly enough!

We have visited a lot of B&Bs over the years. Hands down, one of the most beautiful, well-kept inns we have visited. And Nancy? Wow - she was amazing. Sadly, we lost power the last morning of our stay but Nancy came to the rescue and cooked a breakfast on the top of a gas stove. It wasn't quite what she had wanted, but she surely made lemonade out of lemons - all with a smile and grace. It was a great - and memorable - stay! Highly recommend!

Gage mansion is an outstanding example of comfortable accommodations and excellent service. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Nancy and Patty were both so kind and thoughtful. Food was very good too. Treat yourself to the Gage, you won’t be disappointed.

Such a wonderful experience! The mansion takes you back to a time and place of opulence with the stairwell reminiscent of the one you may remember from the Titanic movie. Everything is in beautiful condition as if it was just built yesterday. Nancy was also an incredibly gracious host making us most welcome from beginning to end!

Very beautiful place. It was spotless. Employees were super nice. They had nice touches like fresh baked cookies waiting for us. Free off street parking. Quiet. Didn't hear anyone until breakfast. Coffee and tea available 24/7. Would definitely stay again.

Wow, what a great place! Stayed here on a whim after coming to Central Pa. to check out the East Broad Top Railroad. The Mansion was an easy 30min drive away in the charming college town of Huntington. Tay, the host, was very accommodating and was in touch to coordinate a late arrival. The Mansion itself is gorgeous, with amazing original woodwork and high-quality restoration. All of the rooms have individual A/C units. The decorations and furnishings were lovely. Great restaurant right across the street. I'm already scheduling a return trip!

Beautiful mansion…lovely carved woodwork! Our hostess was so warm and friendly! Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern! Good off street parking! Minutes from a great trail for our morning walk! And breakfast…delicious and plentiful!

Our host was gracious and the mansion was immaculate. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation to others. The breakfast was fresh and served promptly. The trains were going through town frequently, but with the air conditioning running, it wasn’t bothersome.
