Uitstekend hotel met bijzonder vriendelijke mensen tot aan de chef toe. Dikke plus voor de hulpvaardigheid en meedenken toen één van onze vrienden een ongelukje had gehad. Komen zeker terug. Kleine opmerkingen: als je meerdere dagen blijft mag de menukaart voor het arrangement wat ons betreft iets uitgebreider. We komen zeker een keer terug!

Wij hebben dit hotel / restaurant met oud en nieuw samen met onze hondjes bezocht. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf. We hadden een arrangement incl dinerbuffet en ontbijtbuffet. Wij zijn vegetariër en daar werd zeer goed rekening mee gehouden. De kok had zelfs speciaal iets voor ons klaargemaakt. De bediening in het restaurant is echt top!! Helaas weet ik zijn naam niet. Maar er werkt een jongen die ons een super service heeft geboden en mij zelfs wilde voorzien van mijn havermelk. Service maakt echt het verschil in dit hotel :-) Dank voor het heerlijke rustige verblijf voor ons en de hondjes.

Bewertung Fletcher Hotel Putten/Mooi-Veluwe Einmal und nie wieder! Achtung vorm Buchen über die Hotel Website - die Angaben dort sind irreführend, geschönt und tw. falsch! Wir buchten im Februar für ein Komfort-DZ mit Terrasse, das uns mit Foto und 25 m3 bestätigt wurde. Nach der Reservierung erfolgte alles weitere nur noch auf niederländisch. Als wir am 21.08. nach 10 Std. Fahrt aus Österreich ankamen „durften“ wir erst eine halbe Stunde später einchecken, dann bekamen wir die Karte fürs Zimmer, wurden zeitlich zum Frühstück und Abendessen (wir wählten da nur den Anreisetag) eingeteilt. Als wir ins Zimmer wollten, war dieses belegt! Zurück an der Rezeption wurde uns ein neues Zimmer gegeben mit 12,5 m3 in einer Ecke, wo zudem die Terrasse der anderen Ecke logischerweise direkt (ohne Sichtschutz/Hecke o.ö.) an uns grenzte und jeder dem anderen in Zimmer gucken konnte. Wieder zurück an der Rezeption fing der Ärger an. Die ältere Dame am Empfang war total arrogant, uneinsichtig und beharrte darauf, dass alle Zimmer im Hotel gleich groß wären, sie würde schließlich da arbeiten und wüsste es. Tatsächlich ist das nicht wahr, unser ursprüngliches Zimmer war um einiges größer (wenn auch nich 25m3). Danach folgten durch uns Anrufe bei der Hotel-Hotline (kostenpflichtig mit 12 Minuten Warteschleife!). Dort war man sehr freundlich und kümmerte sich darum. Allerdings nach Rücksprache mit derselben Aussage, wir hätten ein Komfortzimmer gebucht, das alle Kriterien erfülle und alle Zimmer seien gleich groß. Letztendlich nach einer Nacht mit Wut im Bauch und der Überlegung nach Storno/Abreise/ggfs. Anwalt war eine ganz nette junge Frau an der Rezeption, die wirklich verstand und half und uns versprach, nach Abreise anderer Gäste einen Zimmertauch zu versuchen. Das klappte dann endlich, Zimmer und Terrasse ok, aber ein Tag Urlaub war futsch nur mit Ärger. Zum Hotel/Restaurant: Die Gänge vor den Zimmern sind total versaut mit Riesenflecken auf dem Teppichboden, der Boden im Zimmer könnte auch eine Reinigung vertragen. Ausstattung gut, Matratzen super, der Schrank ein bisschen klein, im Bad keine Haken - aber alles ok. Beim Frühstück ist es wie bei einer Pauschalreise in Billigländer mit Schlangen vor der Kaffeemaschine/Buffet. Beim Abendessen ist Geduld gefragt bzgl. Wartezeiten, alles etwas eng, wenngleich die Restaurant-Ausstattung recht hübsch ist, Essen ok. Generell: Das Hotel wird zu 95% von älteren Holländern besucht, kaum junge Leute mit Kindern, alles in allem etwas der Eindruck eines Reha-Zentrums. Deutsch sprechen wenige, mit englisch klappt alles. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit bis auf die ältere Rezeptionistin (die sprach allerdings deutsch). Noch zu erwähnen ist, dass andere Gäste Zimmer mit Balkon buchten, den es gar nicht gibt. Es handelt sich dabei nur um ein Geländer direkt vorm Fenster! Also wirklich Achtung beim Buchen - für uns kommt ein Fletcher Hotel nie wieder in Frage!

Schön im Wald gelegen, mit dem Hund gingen wir so in den Wald, ohne das Auto zuerst wieder einzusteigen. Wir verstehen, dass Hunde nicht im Restaurant erlaubt sind und fanden das Grand Café eine sehr gute Alternative. Wir konnten hier Frühstück und Abendessen 3-gangen nutzen. Einige Feedback ist, dass wir gerne ein Zimmer vorziehen wollten, die Karte im Grand Café ist begrenzt (ein schöner Bürger oder ein Bier mit frittierendem fritzen würde nicht missverstanden) und die Kaffeeanlagen im Zimmer fiel. Wenn Sie als Bilderberg Kaffeeanlagen im Zimmer anbieten, dann ist ein Wasserkocher mit Lösungskoffee eine Farce.

Excellently positioned hotel for a peaceful countryside stay. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little cold, even though the outside temperature was extremely hot. I am guessing that the cabin has very thick insulation. The room was always dark under the trees, and not facing the sun, which was disappointing. Pleasantly surprised that a coffee pod machine was provided, as well as a small kettle for tea, as this is not standard on the Continent, so I had not brought my usual survival kit with me! Amazed at the huge size of the shower room, that was set up as a wet room. Unfortunately the shower drain did not work efficiently enough to counter the fact that the room floor sloped away from it! So water pooled across the room under the wash hand basin and vanity unit. This made the floor very slippery and dangerous. A large squeegee mop was provided, but it took some effort to push the water towards the floor drain. I therefore, only showered at night, and very quickly to use less water, when the floor could be left to dry out. The food was good, and vegetarian/vegan options were available. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet, where an excellent selection was set out every morning, and included sliced salad, and fresh fruit. There was only a problem one night, when the travel company hadn't booked dinner for my coach party, and I had been unable to buy food at the Floriad event which was caŕd only, and I had only euros! The hotel restaurant was very busy with another party, and the bar food too was not available....so I suffered a very hungry night. I only wanted bread and cheese, but no one would sell that to me! I often find that hotels, do not do 'basic' food, assuming that guests only want cooked! Thinking about this now, I probably should have gone to Reception to explain my plight, but I just thought it was my fault having only euros with me, and not noticing that only two night's dinners were provided. In the following days, I made sure that I always had cheese and salad rolls, as a backup! The grounds around the hotel were pleasant and the swimming pool was in an attractive wooded area. Pity though, that there didn't seem to be any shops or cafes in walking distance!
