We seemed to have had a very different experience from everyone else. I know Mrs Trinh won’t like this review and despite her constantly grabbing my arm and telling me everything was ok, is was not. She may view me as a difficult woman but I am very well travelled, used to live in Asia and I can only tell the truth from what we experienced. I asked before we arrived, if possible, we would like a high floor or top floor room - oh how I wish I hadn’t asked. I take responsibility for asking for the top floor but regardless they shouldn’t give out substandard rooms and especially not at the price they charged. We arrived after 10pm, to find Mrs Trinh shouting at a member of staff and turning to us, telling us he was giving her big problems as he has given away the top floor room. We were then made to wait while they woke some poor person up and made them move, which made us very uncomfortable. When we finally got in the room it was truly horrible. Tiled from ceiling to floor it felt like sleeping in a public toilet. The sink plumbing wasn’t connected and poured all over the floor and you had to hold the shower in your hand as the wall attachment was broken and room did not feel clean. The balcony was literally one foot wide, so forget about sitting on it and the door didn’t lock. There was no view anyway. The sheets were stained and had a hole in. If we had paid the normal £10-15 maybe it was all fair enough but because of the public holiday we were charged £45 !!!!!! No where else in Vietnam did we suffer such a price hike. Our next hotel in Hoi An was glorious with a pool and was £12 whilst still in the public holiday period. We asked to move the next day and had a better room but checked out a day early. If you pay £10-15 fair enough but whatever you do, don’t ask for the top floor. I suspect it might be staff accommodated, if not, waking up a paying guest late at night and making them move is unacceptable. Truthfully our worse hotel experience in Vietnam and we moved on a day early.

Pleasant stay in a small lane near vibrant cafe and restaurant area of Hue. Staff really looked after us, especially when my partner was sick, taking drinks and breakfast to the rooom. Good breakfasts you choose from a menu. Loved the banana and mango smoothie and honey pancakes! Accomodation was pleasant- a balcony, separate partitions for shower, toilet and wash basin was convenient for 2 people. Separate kitchen/dining area and a laundry with washing machine/dryer, good for long stays. There is a popular cafe at the end of the lane. Try the crème Brûlée coffee! The front desk helped with tour information and local shops. Highly recommend staying here.

Though I didn't get a good room with view , I really had a delightful stay in La Perle . The room was small facing a wall but comfy, spotless with a well equipped bathroom attached. I especially apreciated to be able to get french speaking 5 TV channel I could never watch again during the rest of my stay in VietNam . I also apreciated the wonderful unpolitical city tour marketed by La Perle I had with an amazing young couple from India. Above all I enjoyed the wonderful family atmosphere generated by the staff that made this hotel unique among all those during my stay in VietNam . First of all both managers . Mrs Huöng (also the photographer. See the pictures) and Mr Michael Dung who helped me so much to attend Palm Sunday mass in the impressive Hué Cathedral . But what could a good management do without a good staff ? No better way to start the day than with La Perle refined breakfast served by sweet Ms Thi , so sweet that called her Honey, So sweet too, the charming female staff at reception . Ms Ngoan also called Cherry , Ms Hoà ( Little Mouse) and last but not least the highly motivated Ms Tho'( Strawberry)! I rarely rhapsodize about hotels as I am now doing about La Perle . Just to make everyone aware that even if at first glance La Perle is located in a small lane where all hotels in Hué also are , even if you don't get the best bedroom there ” La Perle is ”thee” hotel where to stay . Deal with the wonderful staff who will make the impossible for you. SEE YOU AGAIN ( Au revoir)

Best location in town, right next to the former imperial palace! The hotel is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Started in a premium room, it was a spacious room, but no windows looking outside. The smaller rooms seem to have windows though, some of them even have balconies. All in all, we had a great time. Hotel staff helped with arranging drivers too for excursions. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Alle Mitarbeiter sind gewidmet, freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Design und die Farben im Hotel sind sehr elegante. Die Lage des Hotels ist bequem, die Stadtblick ist sehr schön. Es gibt viele sehr gute Dienstleistungen: Mittagessen für die Familie, Café direkt im Hotel, bestellen Sie Essen in das Zimmer. PS: das Front Desk Personal ist sehr nett

Der wunderschöne Besitzer Quy und seine Frau sind absolut zurückgeblieben, um mich während meines Aufenthalts hier zu beobachten. Einige Beispiele: Ich konnte nicht eine DMZ-Tour finden, die lief, so Quy organisierte eine Reise mit einem Freund seines Privatwagens zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Ich habe einen Busschein für Hoi An gekauft und die Busgesellschaft rang das Hotel zu stornieren - bis ich es herausgefunden hatte, waren die Besitzer bereits am Telefon versucht, mir eine Alternative zu finden. Ich hätte nicht um eine bessere Erfahrung gebeten, danke Ihnen so sehr Qui und Ihre wunderschöne Familie, dass Sie mich so willkommen gemacht haben. Ich sollte auch sagen, dass das Zimmer wunderschön und extrem sauber war, plus es war in einer tollen Lage. Ich würde Canary Boutique an jeden, aber besonders alleinreisenden empfehlen, da die Pflege, die ich hier bekam, absolut mich geflogen. Ich würde ihnen 11/10 Wenn ich es konnte!

The staff was exceptionally good and the people at the front desk or lovely, kind and super helpful. The two women Nu , Phuong were awesome. I will make it a point t to come back and stay. My room was big clean and the pillows soft. I even have a view of the river!

One of the highlights of our vacation was the opportunity to visit traditional craft villages and experience first-hand the vibrant crafts and traditions of Hue. We visited a conical hat making village, where we learned the intricate process of creating Vietnam's iconic conical hats. We also explored the traditional weaving village, where the rhythmic sound of the looms filled the space and witnessed the process of creating beautiful silk fabrics. Truly an interesting and worthwhile destination, the service and Very comfortable place to stay, definitely a place you should not miss when coming to Hue City

Wir liebten es so sehr, dass wir unsere Reisepläne änderten und unseren Aufenthalt um 3 zusätzliche Nächte verlängerten! Die Boden waren unschädlich und wir fühlten uns, als wären wir weit von der Hügel und Bügel entfernt, die gerade außerhalb der Vordertüren liegen. Das Hotelschiff machte es einfach, ohne sich selbst einen Cab zu bekommen, in die Stadt zu kommen. Wir genossen die komplimentären Morgen-Yoga-Klassen, das erstaunliche Frühstücksbuffet und das Nachmittagsschwimmen in der Poolbar. Das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war eine Behandlung, als wir nicht in die Stadt zurückgehen wollten - was uns auch mehr Zeit erlaubte, eine Abendspa-Behandlung vor dem Bett zu genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir freuen uns schon auf die Rückkehr!

Schönes neues Hotel, Pool auf t Dach, sehr geräumige Frühstück Wahl. Wir haben ein Zimmer upgrade ivm TET. €50 pn bezahlt und sicher, wo für unser Geld. T war nur sehr belastend durch TET, also hektisch alle am t Frühstück. Brommer mieten konnte nicht über das Hotel, aber es ist ziemlich einfach auf der großen Straße in der Nähe des Melia Hotel in Richtung der Stadt zu regeln. Das Hotel ist wirklich weit von allem entfernt. Brommer oder Taxi ist doch eine Muss, wenn Sie irgendwo kommen wollen.
