The Art House Hove

Gorgeous house and lovely big room with modern en-suite. Bed was very comfy and the furnishings made it very homely. Great attention to detail. Lovely hosts and parking in the street was easy and reasonably priced.

The Arthouse is situated 10 minutes from Hove Station and 10 minutes from the seafront. There are two rooms available on the third floor of a beautiful townhouse with no lift, so not suitable for visitors who can’t manage stairs. Liz and Dexter are welcoming and helpful while allowing you space to live in their home independently. We chose the en-suite Garden Room at the back of the house. It was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge with chilled water and milk. It is reasonably priced compared to a hotel and suits us very well when we are visiting family in the local area. We will definitely return the next time we are visiting Hove.

The Art House was in a great location with around a 25 minute walk into the centre of Brighton and only 10 mins down to the beach. Parking was easy to find and pay for, we thought it was well priced at £26.50 for 3 days. The room was exceptional in terms of decor and facilities provided (tea, coffee, mini fridge, biscuits, tv). Close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops, all fabulous and serve some delicious food. Would highly recommend! The owners are so lovely and welcoming and would happily return another time :)

Reasonably priced guest house close to Hove Station, and with a number of buses nearby going into Brighton and beyond. A short walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants of Hove as well as the beach and other amenities of Hove and Brighton. Room was clean with good quality toiletries, tea bags, ground coffee and a cafetière, biscuits and fresh milk provided. The owner, an artist, was very friendly and there are examples of her work in the guest rooms and throughout the house. Both guest rooms are on the top (second) floor. I didn’t have a problem with the stairs but someone with mobility issues might need help with luggage. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back.

Amazing room. Super comfortable and every little detail has been thought out. Liz and Dexter are amazing hosts and the location is great. Also great to have small kitchenette l, fridge and kettle so can make simple breakfast etc there. Loved every big of it, we will be back for sure :)

Amazing place to stay when visiting Brighting & Hove! The location is conveniently walkable to/from the Hove train station, and to the sea, the room is very comfortable and well-decorated, and the hosts are lovely. Will likely return when we come back to Hove.

Amazing room and perfect location! Hosts are really friendly and accommodating. Large room really clean and cute amenities such as tea coffee and biscuits. Also have a fridge in the room so its handy for drinks etc.

Had a fantastic weekend in Hove — the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect: just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by an amazing selection of restaurants and cafés. Whether you're after a relaxed brunch or a lively dinner spot, there's something for everyone nearby. I’d definitely love to come back in the future — highly recommend!

wonderfully comfortable room with all amenities. access to and use of small kitchen / laundry room. great location near to centre of Hove and a quick stroll to the seaside and a walk on the prom. very helpful owners / hosts too.
