I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. Well done everyone

酒店立JR車站不遠，第二天坐火車去立山黑部很方便，房間設施很新，洗澡花洒水壓很足，辦理入住時前台服務生還是中國人，溝通非常順暢，酒店還提供兩張免費輕軌車票可以去富山森林美術館，唯一不足是房間沒有提供瓶裝水，晚上諮詢服務生（日本服務生）竟然沒有告訴我們其實在樓道上是有飲水機的。

The room is very clean. There is a multi storey carpark connected to the hotel, you can park there if you are driving, overnight parking is cheaper if you pay at the hotel, you just need to validate the ticket at the reception at level 2 everyday before you leave the carpark. They will accumulate the parking fee at the time you check out, hassle free to pay everyday. The coin laundry washing machine is a bit weak to dry your clothes, my advice to those who drive is to bring to any 24 hours coin laundry outside, faster and more efficient. Das Hotel liegt buchstäblich von der Toyama-Bahnstation, der Toyama-Bahnstation und der Dentetsu-Bahnstation entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich im oberen Stock des Maroot Building, das eine Mall, ein Premium-Herd mit einem kleinen Bereich mit Tischen, perfekt für ein leichtes Essen. Wir hatten nach unserem Tag in Kurobe Gorge und vor dem Aussteigen auf der Bahnhof ein paar Sashimi. Das Zimmer mit dem Get war gut und sauber. Wir hatten das Standard-Zweizimmer und es war geräumig genug. Das Hotel verfügt über ein öffentliches Bad, perfekt für einen langen Tag aus Nagano über die Tateyama Alpine Route. Ich liebe die Aussicht der Lobby sowie der Gästelounge und das öffentliche Bad, sie alle haben ein modernes Aussehen, das stilvoll und sauber ist. Sicherheit ist gut, obwohl es im gleichen Gebäude wie der Mall ist und denselben Aufzug in die Lobby verwenden. Von der Lobby, um in den Aufzughall für die Zimmer zu kommen, müssen Sie Ihre Schlüsselkarte scannen. dann wieder auf den Aufzug scannen. Große Lage in der Nähe der Bahnhof und Toyama Schloss. Um zum Schloss zu kommen, nach dem Ausflug des Hotels, links drehen, direkt auf für etwa 100m zu gehen, dann über die Straße. I stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one o

This was a beautiful hotel just steps away from the Toyama Station, yet the area is clean, quiet (for being in the city) and lovely. It’s conveniently located for walking around to shops, restaurants and the cherry blossom canal, if you’re there at that time of year. There’s also a stunning urban park close by with so many views and a Starbucks on the waterfront that is a special setting. Our room at this hotel was above and beyond. We actually reserved a standard double and ended up getting upgraded to an amazingly large room with a spacious full living room area. It was such a relaxing place to stretch out after a busy day. Everything was super clean and many nice toiletry touches were provided. I wish we had another night here for sure!
