Das Hotel ist auf der Reise sehr gut erlebt.

Booked 3 nights accommodation with the property for a Queen & Single. Had a friendly check in with a map & food options freely given. The complex is the traditional 2 storey type, with nominated car parking spaces. We were allocated Room 6 on the ground floor. Plenty of room inside with 2 beds, a table & 2 dining chairs. There is really nowhere to put luggage, one going on an ottoman type thing & the other on the floor. There is a bar fridge, microwave, tea-coffee making & a large tv. The air con is really efficient. The beds are very comfortable. There is an openable window serving the main part of the room but still the room was very dark. The wifi is free fast & can be relied upon. The ensuite has a shower stall with a large shower head. The toilettries are 2 squeezy bottles in the shower & near the hand basin. There is no window but there is an exhaust fan. You need to ask to have your room serviced. We asked for extra towels. The motel is in a great location, right in town, close to food outlets. It is very quiet & we heard no noise from other patrons or road noise meaning a good nights sleep. This is a good value hotel.

Klassische altes Stil pub ..... Hohe Decken und vintage Badezimmer und Möbel. War sehr glücklich mit meinem Budget-Aufenthalt. Das Personalmitglied, das mich in mein Zimmer zeigte, hatte ein wunderschönes Lächeln und Augen mit einem Sparkle. Würde wieder aufhalten 😘

Cranky woman at front counter was unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming upon arrival. Booked two rooms via lastminute.com with special request on one of the rooms at the time of booking a week earlier due to father and daughter travelling if they could please have separate beds. Upon arrival we were advised each room only has a queen bed. Trying the 'I'll get angry at you before you can get angry at me approach' she went straight to accusing me of selecting a cheaper room. (Two people in a room ?) I asked if my request was looked at, and if there was any point making a request at all if its not read. She then went on to say 'well it still doesn't matter because you were the one who chose the wrong rooms' and that they did receive the request but the person who took the booking didn't tell her or call me to make other arrangements - so in other words they have their own internal communication issues. Very quick to relieve herself of any responsibility in the matter by allocating blame to her colleague (when we weren't at the point of being bothered - just stunned), hoping to simply comply and sort it out if possible. Without my request to do so she rang another incoming traveller asking her to give up her 'executive suite' and that we should count ourselves lucky that she did. I advised her to charge whatever difference in cost to me there is was a result only to be patronised by saying that she will 'let it slide on this occasion' (like there will be another occasion!). If you like having your head bitten off and being treated with contempt the moment you arrive, this is the place for you. Very average property which without a basic level of polite service to compensate does not represent the town favourably. Walls are like paper - had to sleep with my headphones due to people having loud sex in the room next door, and woken early by maintenance at 6am using a blower vac outside the building.

We only had a night stay in this motel. We arrived close to midnight from a long drive (SA) and we had received after-hours checking in instruction from the reception people. It was a good stop (location) if you want to have a break from driving between SA and VIC.

We arrived after dark and could barely find the turn off from the main highway- no signs, nothing that shone up in the car headlights, no white painted lines. Then we got to the entrance and the reception area was in the dark - no lights and we had to use a torch to find the key lock box to get the key to the cabin. Then the drive down to the cabin was very dark with minimal lighting. The cabin was clean and tidy, but not well appointed. The worst issue with this place was the constant noise from trucks on the highway (mostly using air brakes) - the highway is the main route from Victoria to South Australia and West Australia, so lots of trucks. Not recommended if you want some sleep.

Meine Familie hat es hier geliebt. Die Gastgeber Garry und Kellie sind so freundlich und unterkunftsfähig. Die Lage ist erstaunlich. So eine schöne Landschaft unter den Grampian-Bergen. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was Sie brauchen. Es ist wie ein Haus weg von zu Hause. Der Halls Gap Zoo war fantastisch, ein muss sehen. Der Grampians Adventure Golf war ein guter Lächeln. Fischen, Schwimmen und Wandern sind alle hier ein Muss, wenn Sie die frische Luft genießen. Auch das Essen und die lokalen Getränke sind eine Erwähnung wert. Flammen Brüder, The Views Restaurant sind beide lecker. Wie die lokalen Weine und Kunstöl. Zu viel zu erwähnen.

Leider ist das kein Motel, das ich empfehle, bei einem Besuch der Halls Gap zu bleiben. Die positiven - Große Kommunikation vom Manager Kelly, der von dem Moment, die wir reserviert haben, gab umfassende Informationen über das Eigentum und es ist umgeben. Wir wurden gesagt, unser Zimmer wurde von einem Budgetzimmer auf ein Superior Zimmer aktualisiert, wovon wir sehr aufgeregt waren, wie ich auf der Hotel Webseite lese, dass die Superior Zimmer kürzlich renoviert wurden. Die Dusche war schön und heiß und hatte einen großen Druck und die Handtücher waren frisch und sauber, aber das war die positiven abgeschlossen. Wir sind spät (9pm) und sind früh am nächsten Morgen (6.30am) gekommen, so dass es wirklich nur ein Ort war, um unseren Kopf für die Nacht zu legen, aber das Zimmer war weit von der Einladung entfernt. Das Teppich war besonders an der Vordertür mit braunen Marken schlecht verfärbt, das Zimmer hatte ein lustiges Eichhörnchen (potenziell weil es ein ”pet-friendly” Zimmer war). Wir reisen mit unserem Hund und zahlen $15 für das Privileg, obwohl dies nicht auf der booking.com Webseite, auf die wir reserviert wurden, klar gemacht wurde. Ich fand es später auf der Gariwerd Motel Buchungsseite erwähnt, aber wir reservierten nicht auf dieser. Eine Anregung wäre es, es auch auf der Seite booking.com hinzuzufügen. Das Bad hatte ein großes schwarzes Kurbelhaar in ihm, die Toilettentür schloss nicht richtig und es gibt keinen Auspuff-Fan im Badezimmer, so dass das gesamte Zimmer sich erdicht und die Kondensation fließt die Wände, wenn Sie eine Dusche haben. Es war kalt, als wir ankamen, so natürlich war das erste, was wir tun mussten, die Heizung aufzubringen. Das endete in einem 20-minütigen Prozess. Nach den Anweisungen, die Maschine wiederherstellen, die Filter (die in Staub gekackt wurden - Bild mitgeliefert) endlich haben wir es funktioniert. Jetzt bin ich nicht in der Gewohnheit, negative Bewertungen zu schreiben. Ich denke, das ist meine erste Reiseberatung je, aber ich fühlte mich gezwungen zu schreiben, da ich so gute Bewertungen über das Motel gelesen hatte und insbesondere die Betonung auf die Sauberkeit der Zimmer. Leider ist das nicht, was wir überhaupt erlebt haben. Ich kann nicht scheinen Bilder auf diesem Link zu hochladen, aber ich werde versuchen, sie auf die offizielle Trip Advisor Seite hinzufügen.
