Hope Cove House is a great hotel. Wonderful position overlooking Hope Cove, quiet, very comfortable. Everyone is so welcoming and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is a really lovely place to stay for as long as you can. All the bedrooms are bright and with ensuite bathrooms. Great for families, couples, singles - there really is something for everyone. Stay a week, a few days, just a weekend - any time spent their would be time well spent.

Hope Cove house is an exceptional boutique hotel. Only meters from the water you can hear the waves, the decor is stunning and rooms beautifully equipped. I used the venue for my business Zenaa Retreats, and it was perfect, calm and welcoming, all the guests has an incredible time and I can't wait to come back again in September. A massive thank to the owners Ra & Ollie who were the best hosts we could ask for.

Have just had an amazing long weekend yoga retreat. The food was fabulous, best breakfast ever! Beautiful room and views. Stunning location. Hosts were welcoming. Beautiful coastal walks nearby. Lovely village, friendly prople. Would definitely go back.

Spent a lovely weekend here on a Wellness /a yoga retreat. Beautiful hotel, with warm and inviting decoration. Bedroom was beautiful and I had a sea view. Beautiful views, food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend and planning on going back. Short walk to the beach and sandy beach within 5 min walk. Coastal walks and pub lunches - what more could as for

This has to be the highlight of Hope Cove. It’s an absolute hidden gem. Beautiful relaxed home feel, lovely people, and the food is simply brilliant - every single dish. Don’t just read the reviews, try for yourself…. And then come back again, and again.

We visited with my parents (who had been before) for dinner and were not disappointed. A warm friendly welcome with delicious food in a charming environment. The Lemon Sole was one of the best I’ve had for a long time. Fantastic views from the table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Hope Cove House is best-in-class at blending style with simplicity. The coastal retreat is perfectly located, with beautiful beach views and epic hiking trails. The rooms are bright, chic (Aesop toiletries) and have incredibly comfortable beds. And the food is the best in Devon (a bold statement, I know). Fresh, seasonal, expertly cooked (think fish, pasta, meat). You'll want to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant every day. I love supporting independent, family-run businesses, and I want to keep this warm and welcoming hotel a secret but I have to share it.

It’s hard to find a perfect hotel, but Hope Cove House is about as close as you can get. It’s furnished beautifully, think soho house meets the river cafe. It’s family run by a team who really care, and there are little touches everywhere to make your stay that little bit special; Aesop toiletries, top quality linen, daily newspapers, All-press coffee, a communal record player with vinyl’s, big fluffy towels.. I could go on. This is all before you get to the food part- which is nothing short of all-star. Seasonal, local, tasty, visually impactful and generous, it’s what food should be. I’m a big foodie, infact I spend much of my time working with exceptional produce and chefs- but there’s nowhere on the planet I quite look forward to eating as much as here. If you’re looking for somewhere to call home for a few days, enjoy tremendous food, explore the surrounding nature, sit by a log fire and read a book with a good glass of good wine or a knockout cocktail in hand- this is your kind of place.
