"Family and friends stayed for one night in a number of rooms. Rooms clean and comfortable, bar staff excellent and friendly, food awesome. My only criticism is that breakfast was served to late, and I was unable to have anything before my journey home. I also forgot to use my app throughout the evening and booking. Would I use again, yes definitely, staff certainly add to the ambiance and experience of the Red Lion thank you."

"Das Hotel war riesig, aber ein paar Dinge stören mich wirklich: 1. Die Toilette war alt und stinkt nach Feuchtigkeit. 2. Es gab kein Fenster, das man öffnen konnte, um frische Luft hereinzulassen. Abends wird es wirklich heiß, das Zimmer braucht frische Luft, um zu zirkulieren. Ich musste die Türen öffnen, um frische Luft hereinzulassen. 3. Am störendsten war, dass Reinigungskräfte und andere Leute ins Zimmer kamen, ohne anzuklopfen. Es gab keine Anzeige, die man draußen aufstellen konnte, wenn das Zimmer belegt war. Ich war für 2 Nächte dort, das Personal kommt einfach mit seinen Generalschlüsseln rein. Sehr unprofessionell. 4. Es gab keine Wasserflaschen am Tisch, normalerweise gibt es in den meisten Hotels Wasser, wenn ich reinkomme, aber in diesem war nichts. 5. Bringen Sie unbedingt Ihr Ladegerät für Ihr Handy mit, normalerweise haben Hotels heutzutage USB. Abgesehen davon war die Rezeptionistin so freundlich, mir ihr Ladegerät zu geben."

"My wife booked the place for me and it was a great choice. It is a traditional, original (not a chain), comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced small hotel. My room was spacious with a perfect ensuite bathroom (large shower). The manager was welcoming and helpful. What is not to like!"
