Le Jardin d'Homps

Le Jardin d'Homps is an absolute beauty in the midst of the quiet and magic atmosphere of the canal du midì, Quality of the service is well over the three stars mark the Hotel has been assigned. The old building has been restored to preserve the beautiful art nuveau decorations. Rooms are spacious and silent, and they are pristine clean. There's a spectacular inner garden, with century old palm and pine trees and a magnificent swimming pool. Last but not least, the lady manager is extremely nice and efficient. We will definitely come back to Le Jardin d'Homps!

We had a really lovely stay here (sadly only 1 night) while cycling the Canal du Midi. Everything was perfect - a wonderful, warm welcome, garage for bikes, refreshing pool, location, garden. Really big, comfortable rooms. I would come back to the region just to stay again. Oh and the breakfast - wow!

"I was in deluxe B&B heaven." That's exactly what I said after my stay during a solo cycling holiday along the Canal du Midi. I gave it 5 stars on my go solo travel blog. The accommodation and hospitality was absolutely superb.

Nice place to stay in a house of the « Fin de siècle » style. Very clean and spacious rooms. Warm welcome and hosts are very friendly and forthcoming. Breakfast is top quality with home made yogurt and delicious jams (although not home made). The croissants are served warm!

We have spent 12 days cycling from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, staying in a different hotel or Chambre d’Hôte each night. Le Jardin d’Homps is far and away the nicest place we stayed in. We arrived too early for check-in but where made very welcome, given cool damp towels to wash the dust off, cold drinks, invited to sit in the pool area or sitting rooms while waiting for our rooms. The shared spaces, inside and out are very comfy and inviting. The hosts could not have been more welcoming. The bedrooms were spacious and lovely.

Absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived when we were given cold towels and a cold drink. Beautiful bright house and stunning pool. The hosts are so lovely, so welcoming and so helpful. They were happy to give advice on where to go in the local area. They had a selection of menus for local restaurants and made reservations for us. When we went to the pool they would give us a bottle of cold water to take. On the first evening when we were too tired to go out after a very early flight they gave us plates and cutlery in the garden to eat food we had bought from the supermarket. They could not do enough for us and wanted our stay to be perfect which it was. We stayed in 2 other places after this and neither compared in the slightest in terms of how welcome we felt. The breakfast was delicious too. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay in your beautiful house.
