Within a 1/4 mile of the Cabin you will find Lock and Dam 6, the Trempealeau Marina and boat launches to access Pools 6 and 7 of the Mississippi River. Visitors may also enjoy hiking and bird watching at Perrot State Park, the Federal Wildlife Refuge or simple kayaking the backwaters. The Great River Bike Trail is nearby as well as many other site seeing adventures.
