Kahala 623 is a 1,000 square foot condo overlooking the immaculately kept Poipu Kai greenbelt with barbecues and walkways leading down to Brennecke's Beach. Imagine yourself sitting on the lanai, your favorite beverage in hand, a gentle trade wind flowing over you as you spy dolphins playing in the nearby ocean waves - the warm sun shining through the palm fronds in front of you. You are 600 feet and a quick five minute walk to turtles playing in the waves. A few more minutes and you are at one of the best snorkeling and relaxing beaches in the world. Or you can just stay put on the lanai and watch incredible sunsets year round. We are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a three story building with amazing ocean views. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor away from the main living area and overlooks the ocean. Cool ocean breezes come through the screened windows and you can hear the waves crashing. This condo is privately owned, it is not a time share. When you rent this condo you are staying in our vacation home, not an investment property. Therefore you will have use of our personal beach stuff, saving you hundreds of dollars not having to rent beach chairs, snorkels, umbrellas, ice chests and boogie boards during your stay.You can instantly book our condo by paying directly to VRBO. A down payment of 30% is due at time of booking, 35% due 90 days before your trip and balance due 60 days before your trip. Stays longer than 30 days require mid stay cleanings every two weeks at a cost of $345.00 each. This allows the housekeeper to change out the bedding and towels, vacuum the carpets, clean the windows, and inspect for leaks and damage. Kaha Lani means Heavenly Place which describes this beach front resort perfectly. It's like no other resort on Kauai. Surrounded by large grassy areas, this Bali Style Resort is breath taking. It sits behind a beautiful, undeveloped, white sand beach that is only 150 steps away from your front door. You can walk miles along this quiet beach sometimes without seeing another person. This is a perfect place to take pictures of the amazing sunrises. The resort also has a heated pool overlooking the ocean with Tiki Lights that are lit every night at sunset. There are two barbecue grills by the pool, great for cooking your meals outside. There is a tennis court. A beautiful well maintained golf course is right next door, that is reasonable priced. (Wailua Golf Course). A great bike/walking path is directly in front of the resort that leads to Lydgate Beach Park, a great place for kids to play in the protected lagoon an learn how to snorkel. They will also love the awesome playground. You can rent bikes in Kapa'a nearby or have them delivered to the condo. There is a bike rack directly behind our condo. Kaha Lani Resort is centrally located so you are close to all the famous Kauai sights, yet you feel away from everything the moment you drive into the spacious , tropical resort. Positioned between the Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Beach Park, the resort is very private. You aren't surrounded by other resorts fighting for a spot on the beach, yet you are a short drive from all the activities. The Wailua River is one mile North of the condo. This is were you can launch off in a kayak to visit Secret Falls or take a river cruise to the Fern Grotto. Right on the shores of the Wailua River sits the Coco Palms Resort that Elvis Presley made famous in the film Blue Hawaii. The hurricane Iniki shut the resort down in 1992, but it is still nice to drive past and imagine what it was like in 1961 when the movie was filmed. The Wailua Waterfall, also shown in the film, is a short drive up the nearby country road. It can be viewed from the road and is a great place to take photos. A few adventurous travelers even hike to the bottom of the falls and swim in the fresh water pool. Opoeka'a Falls is about 3 miles from the condo. You can view it from the road. Depending on the recent rainfall it may have one, two or even three falls coming over the side. The quaint town of Kapa'a is a few miles North of the condo. This is a great place to stroll for hours checking out the many shops and restaurants.Kaha Lani 216 is in building 5, on the second and third floor of a three story building. 980 square feet of private space, including two lanai's (patios). It is a quiet, very bright, end unit. There are only six units in this building. The two units connected by the wall to the right only go up two floors, so your third floor master bedroom doesn't share a wall with another unit, making it very quiet. You can view the ocean from the third floor master bedroom windows, making it a great place to watch the passing whales during winter months. It has a new queen size memory foam bed. A private bathroom is also on the third floor with a large shower. The second bedroom and second bathroom are on the second floor with the rest of the living areas. The second bedroom has a new king size memory foam bed. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. The living room has a new memory foam queen size hide away sleeper sofa. There are two lanai's.(patios). One facing the ocean and white sand beach and another facing the mountains. There is plenty of free parking right outside the unit. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals, except groceries which you can purchase at Safeway a few miles North of the condo. There are three flat screen TV's, internet and wifi. In the living room we have a new Smart TV allowing you to access your own online movie accounts. The telephone comes with free long distance to the mainland USA, so you can keep in touch with the office and family. It is well stocked with beach items for you to enjoy. Tommy Bahama Backpack Beach Chairs, Boogie Boards, snorkel sets, umbrella, ice chest, beach towels, tennis rackets and balls. Just bring your clothes. There is a laundry facility on the grounds of Kaha Lani that takes credit cards so you can pack lighter and save on airline fees. Like most homes on Kauai, our condo doesn’t have air conditioning. We have replaced all the windows and had them tented to help keep the inside of the condo cool. All the windows open and are screened. This allows the cool ocean breezes off the ocean to flow through the Condo. The East side of the island gets most of the cool trade winds, so it’s the preferred side of the island. We have ceiling fans and portable stand up fans that you can move around the room. The Muxlow's Hanalei Home Upon waking up you feel the sea breeze brush your face through the open lanai, at the same time the sound of the ocean sends its rhythmic music to soothe you. Hanalei's beauty has already touched you and your not even out of bed. You pour your cup of coffee and ease out onto the lanai. The scene that unfolds in front of you causes you to pause as you take in the creation before you. The ocean, bay, mountains, palm trees swaying gently in the breeze, waves rolling onto the sand and often rainbows that grace the sky reminds us of the Creator and promises kept. Slowly you sit down on the cushioned teak furniture pondering the morning as you sip your coffee and relish the relaxing way of Kauai. If you've brought the kids you take a deep breath of that beautiful Hanalei air watching them play on the grass in front of you. Casually you plan the day without a care of schedules, time, or pressing appointments. The day is up to you whether that is grabbing your favorite book and quietly sitting at the beach or going full throttle on the ATV's at Princeville ranch adventures. You may like to take a stroll down to the beach from the resort to soak up the sun or snorkel & hike at the end of the road past the bay. The resort has complimentary golf cart service to the beach and back if you don't want to do the 5-6 min walk down as it is a sloped walk path. The fun is up to you! New pickleball courts were just installed. Our place provides you with a full kitchen and a BBQ Pavilion is by the lower pool so you can cook that fresh fish you just caught on your fishing tour that day, or like us the fresh fish we buy at the dolphin fish market. The restaurants are superb down in Hanalei Bay so it's a delight to have a night out or two and not cook. We have beach chairs and large umbrellas for you to use on the beach if you love to surf in the waves all day. We love our Hanalei home at Hanalei Bay Resort and want you to have that experience too. FULLY REMODELED BEACH HOUSE CONDO WITH A/C. Unit 441 is a quiet ground level GARDEN VIEW unit with a new A/C. It is located in Kiahuna Resort in Building 42. This condo has vaulted ceilings and a private lanai overlooking the garden. It provides a comfortable space to call "home" while you’re on Kauai. Unit 441 is a short walk to the beach, Poipu Beach Athletic Club, restaurants, swimming pool, and more! Additional amenities include membership to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, 24 hour security, complementary towels and chairs for the beach and swimming pool, internet access and more. Parking is FREE and is located directly in front of the building making it easy to bring in your luggage or groceries. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed to ensure a good night's rest and a 32" inch SMART TV to stream your favorite movies or television series. The bathroom has a double vanity along with a walk in shower. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The living room is complete with a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 extra guests and a 50" SMART TV. The new A/C unit cools the entire condo but its recommended you close all the louvered windows when running the A/C. Or you can open up the louvered windows and enjoy the cooling Kauai trade winds! The resort offers an on site laundry facility along with community BBQ areas. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am at Outrigger front desk. This is located near the west entrance to the property. Once you are in the property you will take the first road to the right and the front desk is at the bottom of the road. Once at the front desk you will be provided with a door code, towel cards, and internet password. There will be a $35 charge at checkout for stays of 8 to 10 nights which includes new towels, linens, trash service, and vacuum.
