Situated high on a ridge looking northward out across Stanmore Bay, you will enjoy the peaceful, semi-rural setting, with a peek of the sea through the trees.Ruru Studio is a studio apartment with its own entrance, occupying the ground floor of a standalone house offering your own private space. Suitable for individuals or couples.Inside, the room is divided into a kitchenette and dining area, and a living and sleeping area. The private bathroom with toilet and shower is located just outside, a few steps from the entrance.Wi-fi internet is provided via a high speed fibre broadband connection. There's a Smart TV with access to Netflix included along with broadcast Freeview HD channels. You can stream your own music or videos through the TV and Bluetooth soundbar.A heatpump/air conditioner keeps the space toasty warm in winter and cool in summer. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, benchtop multi-oven/air fryer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, electric frying pan, and a rice cooker. A gas BBQ is available outside on the patio.Tea, coffee, milk, basic cooking supplies, plates, cutlery, etc are provided.Ruru Studio is fully self-contained. Guests have exclusive use of the ground floor of the building. On the upper floor there is a separate unit where other guests may be staying. (Check our other listing for "Kereru Cottage".) The garden and driveway/parking areas are shared between guests in the two units. Views out over Gulf Harbour Country Club Lake.The Country Club is closed down with access from our garden for walks there. The closest golf course is Whangaparaoa Golf Club...only about 5 mins drive, 10 if you use the bus. Our favorite beach is tiny but beautiful with crystal clear water. Picture attached.Tea and coffee.
