Happy House is one of the very few homes in Cost Rica that is truly beachfront. You won't need to cross a street or follow a trail, just a short walk down the garden path will take you to the private gate opening directly to a prestine Caribbean beach. There you will find a secluded cabana on the undisturbed Playa Grande. The property is nestled in a rainforest between a nature preserve and the warm waters of the Caribbean sea. Happy House is the perfect place to experience abundant wildlife, lush vegetation and very secluded beaches. This is where the jungle meets the sea. The large patio living area overlooks the garden, has a direct view of the beach and is bathed in the sights and sounds of the jungle and sea. The house is elevated above the ground. The 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms are screened in and will accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. The property is a private, single family residence. No one else will be on the property during your stay.The home was built in the vintage local "Tico" open air style to allow the fresh breezes and sounds of the jungle to flow throughout. It is intended to be a place to vacation, relax and be close to nature. If you are looking for modern and luxury and cannot tolerate exposure to nature, please do not stay here. We are constantly cleaning, repairing and maintaining the home. Our home is located within the 250-acre private Samasati Wildlife Sanctuary and Biological Reserve, which sits elevated 800 feet above sea level and overlooks the awe-inspiring vista of the Caribbean. Daily activities include yoga and meditation classes, plus a variety of eco-adventures and day trips to nearby natural wonders. Constructed entirely of local rainforest hardwoods, the house is modern and recently renovated and has all the amenities of home. The ground floor has an outdoor patio, dining table, and bar as well as an enclosed kitchen and full bathroom. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bath. Each bedroom has it's own AC unit and there is also an outdoor patio area to hang out and enjoy the beautiful garden views. The fully fenced yard has an outdoor shower, private parking, and a wonderful outdoor kitchen/dining area to enjoy!Along with the resident sloths that hangout in the almond tree, we have a resident outdoor cat named Minnette. She keeps all the critters away and is self-sufficient. Our management team ensures she is fed & healthy so you don't have to worry about a thing!
