The town is really comfortable, there is a paper at the front desk that recommends the restaurant in the town is very reliable, and there are many messages!"

Land's End Resort ★★★

"The view from my room faces the ocean but the location at the end of Homer Spit isn’t exactly the best place to be because it takes 15mins walk to get to the centre where eateries, shops and ferries are located especially if you’re like me having to carry camera equipment. Taxi services tend to be slow at peak hours. Housekeeping is not efficient and needs to be reminded despite hanging the card out. Cups are not washed and bed is not made unless the card in the room(no card was placed in my room)is completed which was the excuse they gave. This happened for 5x out of my 9 nights where the other 4, I opted for no disturbance . Breakfast is buffet style but limited selection. My stay was over 9 nights. I have to return for another 3 nights on organised tour group. I informed receptionist upon checkout to put me in the same room. The answer is NO. The level of service at front desk and housekeeping needs improvement except for a special lady, Lena who is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, there is no value for money."

"This was the perfect spot for our 5 day stay in Homer. It's an easy drive into town, and it's nice to be up in the hills with a view. Stephen and Juxia are great hosts-friendly, concerned for your comfort, and full of good recommendations. It was very handy having a full kitchen, and we enjoyed the daily breakfast that was brought to our room each morning!"

"My family had the opportunity to spend 1 night in the Aspen house at Baycrest Lodge. Homer was a last minute side trip that I’m so thankful we fit in. We will definitely be going back to this precious seaside town, mostly because I need more time at the Baycrest Lodge. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! In all my travels I have never stayed anywhere more immaculate or well appointed. There was no detail overlooked. My boys loved lounging in robes by the hot tub while overlooking the most scenic views of the bay. They also enjoyed playing football on the spacious green space right behind our house. I liked that it was private/outside of town but a short scenic drive to the Spit. The owners were so accommodating with our last minute booking and went out of there way to make sure we had the best experience. I’m so grateful we got to experience Baycrest Lodge. It has ruined me for all other places! My expectations just went WAY up! 😂❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars isn’t enough! Book this place-you won’t regret it."

"The scenery is invincible! Outside the window is the bay and beach. As a seasonal hotel, it is only operated in 5-9 every year. The boss is kind, Alaska is native, and the warm reception introduces local activities and food. The small town is not big and it is convenient to go anywhere."
