Hotel Pernik

Das Hotel war in einem guten Zustand. Es ist jedoch ein Drei-Sterne-Hotel. Der Pool war die größte Attraktion des Hotels. In der Poolbar und auf der Terrasse gab es nur Getränke, aber absolut kein Essen. Das kostenlose Frühstück beschränkte sich auf ein Sandwich mit Schinken und Käse auf einem kleinen Brötchen. Vielleicht und ein Ei, wenn Sie an einem glücklichen Tag dort sind. An den meisten Tagen nicht. Sie kamen mit einem Glas Saft aus kubanischem Wasser, den ich nicht zu trinken wagte. Sie servierten dazu ein paar Stücke geschnittenes Obst. Eine halbe Tasse Kaffee. Es war ein Glücksfall, wenn sie ZUCKER für den Kaffee hatten. Das kleine Hotelrestaurant auf der unteren Ebene bietet zwei Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Schinkensteak oder Fisch. An meinen letzten beiden Tagen gab es ein Hamburgersteak. Das war es. Die meisten meiner Mahlzeiten aß ich in Restaurants außerhalb des Hotels in mehreren Parks in der Innenstadt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Der Fernseher und die Klimaanlage funktionierten gut. Sie versprachen mir, während meines siebentägigen Besuchs Internetkarten zu kaufen. Aber die Internetkarten waren nie verfügbar. Ich musste in den Central Park gehen, in der Sonne sitzen und mich mit dem Internet verbinden. Jeden halben Tag war der Strom aus, daher kein Internet. Dennoch ist es immer noch der beste Ort zum Übernachten in Holguin

This was my third time staying at Hotel Pernik as a member of a group of twenty plus Canadians on a two week trip to different parts of Cuba. Pernik is a three star hotel with no pretensions of grandeur. It offers a nice ambience, decent food (I needed vegan) and a great bar where we gathered after dinner. It is open twenty four hours and while the liquor on offer depends on what is available in a sanctioned environment, its open air verandah type structure is perfect for sitting across a table that can be expanded ad infinitum. Pernik, I like you, but please, you need to make sure that the coffee at breakfast is HOT!

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the pool was filled with locals, who made the pool dirty and it was very noisy. Receptionists were friendly but most of the other staff didn't even look at us or were rude. Breakfast took forever, was bad and again rude staff Rooms were clean but outdated. Power sockets were not working well so even though our voltage is different, our phones/batteries didn't charge. City centre is a 30+ min walk All in all we did not like this hotel at all.

Great location right in the center of Holguin Cuba. Unlike resorts that are 1 hour away and secluded this hotel is real Cuba . Walking distance to the baseball stadium .Price is affordable about the same price as a casa particular but not for you money .it has 24hour security 24hour bar 3 resturants a huge swimming pool. I don't understand why peaple would go to a casa this hotel is clean has a 24hour doctor on site nurse ..the hotel is used by both Cubans and tourist . They have upgraded and renovated most rooms and resturants .top class service and security

Yo aconsejo que cierren el hotel. Pésimo!!!!!! La atención, la habitación se estaba desarmando, sin insumos en la habitación. Me parece falta de respeto decir que tiene 3 estrellas, no le daría ni 1 estrella. La peor experiencia en un hotel

Lindo hotel. Estándar medio. En comparación con otros hoteles en Cuba, el nivel es mucho menor. Delicioso desayuno, servido a los huéspedes en la mesa (sin buffet). Desafortunadamente, la ubicación es inconveniente porque está fuera del centro (a unos 2-3 km del centro). Personal muy agradable, servicial y profesional. Había una piscina, lamentablemente estaba llena todos los días, donde el hotel permitía gente de fuera. Desafortunadamente, hubo cortes de energía varias veces. pero no dependía del hotel.
