Ich fand den perfekten Ort für Ruhe genießen die Natur am besten. Der Ort ist durch Limonade und Fluss umgeben. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Blick auf die riesigen Limonade klippen auf der Seite, vorne ein natürliches Lebensraum von Bäumen mit dem Kräften und Früchten. Der Ort ist von Bananenbaum, Pomelo, Papaya und einer Vielzahl von Blumen umgeben. Mein Freund verwendete die Billards. Ich genossen meine tägliche Bananenpannecke, die Portionen sind großzügig. Es war gut, das Gebiet mit komplimentären Push-Motoren zu erkunden. Sie würden sogar einen Regenmantel bieten, wenn es regnet. Es war 15 Minuten Fahrrad bis majestätisches Trang ein Flussboot und 12 Minuten nach Hua Lu. Das Essen war gut. Es war schön, einen Tag im Hotel durch die Hammern vor dem Fluss zu verbringen. Das Personal ist so freundlich, ich fühle mich, als wäre es ein Haus weg von zu Hause. Das Essen war erstaunlich, die Preise waren vernünftig. Danke für die glückliche Erinnerung.

We stayed here 5 days, to really experience the beauty and many attractions of the Trang An and Ninh Binh areas. We were so glad we did; it was a highlight of our 3 weeks in SE Asia, including a very relaxing stay at Trang An Retreat. Our host, Sam, was very warm, welcoming and helpful in arranging anything we asked for during our stay. This is a small, family-run business and all staff were kind and professional. The surrounding area is spectacularly scenic and peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. As others have mentioned, accommodation is basic here - clean, comfortable and very budget-friendly. Food was quite good, if a bit limited. The spring rolls are delicious! Sam and staff speak English well, which was very helpful to us. They arranged a reliable driver for us on two of our days there. The stunning Trang An Grottoes boat trip is only 1 km away, an easy bike ride from the Retrat (they have decent bicycles available for free). I highly recommend this place for folks who want a tranquil, reasonably priced home base in the Ninh Binh area.

The room (premium deluxe) was absolutely stunning, with a very beautiful scenic view, a very comfortable matress and very clean also. The location is also very good, its convenient to walk and see tam coc and also for the boat trips. The breakfast was good and there is a nice pool to swim. That said, We had a big problem of noise : a new bar opened next door and the noise was umbelievably loud, the staff could’nt tell us what was the closing hour of the bar and wasn’t capable of going and pick the information when we asked several time. They did a discount on the room because we could’nt sleep at all (it was like we were in the bar) so I thank them for that because they tried their best to help us, but in the future I hope that they can make an arrangment on the level of noise with the new bar, otherwhise, clients will not be respected for what they pay…

Schöne kleine Heimunterkunft, auf einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Tam Coc, von einem sehr schönen Paar, Tommy und Lily geführt. Räumliche Zimmer, sehr sauber, Balkon, sehr gut Frühstück auf dem Patio, mit ausgezeichnetem Kaffee! Tommy war super hilfreich, um unsere Übertragung mit dem Bus zu organisieren, auch im letzten Moment, und er ging uns zum Bushaltestand und wartete, um sicherzustellen, dass wir OK! Sie sind sowohl flüssig in Englisch, und sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen es sehr!

I have been travelling for around 6 weeks now and this is by far the best homestay that I’ve stayed in whilst being here. The rooms are extremely spacious with A/C, the pool was lovely and the location is superb. The ladies that runs this homestay needs her own paragraph because she is phenomenal, whether it’s recommending places to go or helping with any day to day issues you may have she is always on hand to help. Our bus out of Ninh Binh was a late one but she let us keep the room all day free of charge because of how hot it was. Not only this, when we left she provided us with water and snacks to take with us. She is an absolute credit to the homestay and I cannot praise this absolute gem of a place to stay enough.

10/10 Detailed review from an American. Room: clean, modern, upscale. Western-style furniture. Spacious beds. Nice furniture, free toothbrushes and combs, lovely bathroom facilities. Noise level: PEACEFUL and QUIET! Relaxing, if you want to escape the city noise. It is the countryside after all. You can see water buffalo herds in the fields nearby if you take a walk outside the hotel. I can watch them from my hotel window. Staff and service: AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and honest hardworking staff. Won't cheat or scam. Use google translate if needed. Honestly the staff made our stay so good we extended the stay an extra day. Ask them for local recommendations (they don't get a kickback from any recommendations so its all genuine) Food: RECOMMENDED! Especially for travelers afraid of getting food poisoning or upset stomach from street food. Restaurant quality, home-cooked/cooked-to-order meal. Clean kitchen facility. Good prices, cheap. Made with love, the manager herself cooked a lot of the meals for us and they were delicious (for reference, im vietnamese-american so in my humble opinion, the authenticity is excellent and pleasing to a western palate as well. Personal Recommendation: Want a nice dinner thats still authentic? Order your food and eat outdoors in the cool of the evening, try the barbeque-it-yourself beef and goat. Delicious, hand-marinated quality beef cuts and goat, and they give you a little tabletop BBQ pit for you to bbq your meat just how you like it. Order some side dishes and its a great and fun family meal. If you want to and the staff aren't busy, they can bbq it for you if you want, but I think its fun to do it yourself. The location is out in the countryside but don't be alarmed because the hotel is a short drive from the main city center and tourist spots. The bad: - The beer is warm lol. They should refrigerate it. - Tip: if you ask for ”wine”, note that its vietnamese hard liquor, not the western understanding of wine (grapes). - There's a stupid rooster nearby from one of the local farms and it likes to crow all day. If you stay in the downstairs rooms you might be able to hear it, but if you stay in the upper floors you can't hear it. Would stay again.

Wir mögen es hier sehr. Ein schönes Hotel, eine ästhetische Bar, ein wenig Aussicht vom Fenster enttäuscht, auf dem Schwimmbad, aber eine solche Lage.. zum Zentrum gibt es Coca, wo alle Cafés sind 5 Minuten auf dem Fahrrad. Die Mitarbeiter haben alle Fragen gelöst, sehr Gastfreundschaft! Sauna und Jacuzzi kostenlos. Frühstück gut. Wir hatten ein gutes neues Fahrrad zur Miete.

the villa and facilities are excellent, breakfast spread was also decent with an option for local vietnamese pho bo. however location is slightly further away from the main attractions like Tam Coc or Mua Caves
