Our stay at Saigon Star Hotel from 28/06 to 8/07/24 exceeded all expectations. Despite its star rating, the service we received felt like a six-star experience. The hotel's strategic location near Ho Chi Minh immigration and within walking distance of key tourist attractions made it an ideal choice. Adjacent to the hotel is Công viên Tao Đàn park, where early morning workouts set a vibrant tone for the day. Jane, the exceptional hotel manager, went above and beyond to assist us when my father lost his passport. Her tireless efforts included accompanying us to the local police station as an interpreter to help us secure a police report promptly. Miss Fong at the front desk was also instrumental in assisting us with arranging accommodation and handling the report efficiently. Their kindness, dedication, and top-notch service truly made our stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for delivering service that surpasses expectations and warrants more recognition than its current star rating suggests.

Poor environment and dirty with cockroach can be found and with spa.

Tourist attractions are very nearby the hotel. Jollibee can also be found downstairs only.

老酒店。衛生程度還可以。位置也不錯。只是服務人員很不好。便宜酒店。不要要求太多。

無論是商務還是旅遊 西貢明星都是不錯的選擇 雖然房間有點歷史，還是能夠體驗越南的真正生活 大堂的服務員有禮，very helpful 

酒店環境可以，周邊餐飲也相對比較方便，周邊有一個比較大的公園，綠化很可以，酒店也有環形露天陽台，因為工作原因，我在這家酒店住了大概4個月，整體還行，攜程也能網上開電子發票。

Let's start with the bad. I booked a deluxe room and it shows its age. There are scratches on the wall and corner, bathroom grouts look patchy. For the state of the room, it is not matching the 3 star rating. There is no free motorbike parking. There is overnight bike parking in the rear which costs VND 10k, but it does not have in-and-out privilege. I wish the hotel would deal with those places to have parking package. Now onto the good. My room was well maintained by housekeeping. Bathrooms are clean , towels are replaced daily. Bed linens are fresh, no bed bug, comfortable to sleep on, I did not hear much street noise. You get 2 free bottles of water daily. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious and each room has a balcony. Location-wise, it is not bad at all. It is across Tao Dan park which is great for daily exercise, Ben Thanh market is about 15-20 mins walking distance. There are tons of good non-touristy l restaurants nearby. Jollibee is on-premise in case you crave for non-asian food. Wifi is decent, I was able to stream on Netflix, the hotel sets up tons of routers for guests to connect to. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
