Do Thanh Residence by DDH

The room is new, clean, and the service is good. But I think the breakfast isn't varied and the service is a bit slow. Anyway this hotel is still a good choice

Everything is good! Enjoy the stay over there with alot of shops and nice restaurant around that area as well! Definitely will visit again !

Good place to just, newly renovated. But the restaurant only serve 1 main course in the morning, i dyou don’t like, you will need to find other. And a lot stuff to repair in the room, the door, the clogged basin etc. spend me 1 day to supervise the technician to repair.

We stayed here as a family and appreciated the apartment-style layout, which makes it a good option for families. The rooms are recently renovated, and towels are fresh and new, which added a nice touch. However, there are a few downsides worth mentioning: • The bathrooms are extremely small, which may be uncomfortable, especially for families. • While the hotel advertises having a kitchen, it’s very minimally equipped—only 2 cups provided for 4 guests, and most utensils seem to be in sets of two, even though the apartment had two double beds. There’s also no dish soap, sponge, or basic supplies, so anything you use is left dirty unless you bring your own cleaning items. • The cleaning service is extremely limited. It basically consists of emptying the toilet bin and making the bed. The kitchen is left untouched, even if messy, and things like empty soda cans or general surface mess are not cleared. It’s the bare minimum level of cleaning I’ve experienced in a hotel setting

The Hotel was very clean and tidy in a good location. Unfortunately, when we arrived in our room there was a note to say that there was no hot water but it was being rectified. We asked about this later and were told that it would be sorted by the following afternoon/evening. We decided to get something to eat and whilst waiting for the rest of the family l asked for a menu. I was then told the restaurant was closed 2 days ago and now only opens for breakfast. We stayed for 5 days and at no point did we have hot water. In the end we spoke to the Manager as we felt sorry for the staff each day as we were being told different things. Maintence would come and run the water or hit the pipes - but it never got hot. The Manager agreed to see us 5pm, as he was not in the building. We were due to go out so waited until 5.20 and then went to reception. We asked were the manager was as we hadn’t seen him. The very nice girl called the manager who was in his office - he asked that we go to him but we we needed to go out so asked him to come down. He apologised and it seems tank needed replacing mending, but he did not come to find us or tell us he was there we had to chase him. Our issue was that had been been fully informed and not lied/given false information we could have booked somewhere else straight away. Naturally not having hot water did impact our holiday. This is the reason for the low scores and the restaurant not being open.

Hotel is located at district 3, actually not far away from main attractions which take place in district 1. Noise level wise it was a perfect choice for us but due to infrastructure of the city it is really a big challenge even to walk short distances. Motorbikes block roads, crossovers and even sidewalks. So if you have young kids I would recommend to stay closer to district 1. As many people mentioned hotel breakfast is limited choices but quite cosy and always fresh fruit, croissants, banana breads. So it was not bad at all. We had breakfast for four days. Dinner at the hotel restaurant should be considered only as emergency solution :). Hotel is well decorated, reception area is super cool to have drinks in the evening. Rooms are very spacious, clean and well maintained.
