Colonial Bank Motel

Omeo is a tiny town with only a couple of hotels. We chose Colonial Motel, which was available on American Express travel. Colonial is a typical motel, which is okay for a one-night stay. We had a room which consisted of one double and one single beds. However, the note in the room that was saying that if the extra bed is used, there will be an extra charge :) Not very welcoming. Overall, it was an uneventful stay, but I would probably try one of the other properties in town if I were in Omeo again.

Its on the main street but tucked behind a old building that offers security, privacy and easy reach to the towns shops and pubs, the room was clean and had all the necessities (no refrigerated a/c, but a evaporative style cooler and ceiling fan) that made for a comfortable stay

We stayed here for four nights and found everything exactly what we wanted. A charming little motel with only four rooms. Upon arrival you’re greeted with your name on the door of your room and the keys waiting for you. No need to go to the office at all but they’re there if you need. we couldn’t believe how quiet it was, not only could you not hear any traffic from your room you don’t hear other guests either. The room has everything you need although the weather was really warm it would have been nice with an air conditioner but once we cranked up the ceiling fan we were soon cooled down. The wifi worked a treat and everything about this place was fantastic.
