We, a group of 8 persons, spent 2 nights at the Himalayan on our way to Chandigarh from Ladhak. Accommodation was grand and comfortable, and the ambiance of place and surroundings was wonderful. The staff were very caring and attentive, and the food was delicious. We happened to meet the GM, Mr. Vivek Thakur. He was very hospitable and generous in providing guidance for local sightseeing.

This property is one of the best finds in India, it has an amazing view of the Himalayas, it looks like an ancient castle and also has this bar that feels like you’re in Scotland. All in all it transports you to all things beautiful in a countryside escape ♥️

Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property with beautiful gardens, a pool & cottages around it made us feel so relaxed and we felt bad when our stay was about to end. The persons at the reception were most polite and helpful to all our queries about how and where to visit around Manali. Every evening they had a map for us with all places marked out for our visits the next day. Of course I must mention the breakfast spread and few meals we had for dinner, just amazing. We will definitely come back & stay here again for our next visit. Thank you The Himalayan for making our holidays special.

Great location and view, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Great attention to the room interior design details. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Food was good and taste amazing and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Hotel is very nice. It has good location and great views. It has place to sit or walk around with scenery all around. Staff is excellent. Food is good although a bit expensive. The water is hot but have to keep taps open for cold water to drain and this causes wastage of water. The hotel rooms are good and spacious. There are nice places eg. Poolside and in park facing mountains- to sit with family and eat food.

We booked a villa at The Himalayan and were not disappointed as it was huge duplex villa, with cozy rooms on both floors and spectacular view of the mountain ranges. Built in Gothic architectural style, the hotel exudes an old english charm which is so in line with stories of hill stations found in story books. There is a fire place in the villa which can be activated on request in case you wish to spend a quiet evening with a book. The food is tasty and served hot. The staff is helpful and always ready to serve with a smile on their face. We enjoyed the 360 view of the town from the tower and the maze in the garden. Overall an amazing, enjoyable experience.
