We traveled with 2 adults and 2. children. The family-run hotel is very lovingly designed, has a very good location and is not too oversized or overcrowded. The chef goes to great lengths to introduce you to the local cuisine and surpasses himself every time. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful! They try to make sure the guests have a good time. The beach is not far away. You also realise that if there are any minor problems, the hotel is willing to tackle and improve them. A great development in the last three years. We would love to come back!

We kind of had a rough start at this hotel. When we arrived, the manager told us that we had won the hotel‘s lottery and were now upgraded to an all inclusive holiday over at their partner hotel which, supposedly, was better suited for young people, had a water park, a disco and was just overall better. The manager set up an agreement form regarding the compensations, however, she wrote down extremely vague conditions in quite broken english and did not give us a copy to keep although I specifically asked for it. I was very skeptical about the whole situation and hesitant to move to the other hotel, which the manager didn’t seem to like. While we were still discussing the topic, a man came and already put all our luggage into his car without even saying a word to us. At some point in the conversation, I mentioned that my dad taught me to be this careful, because he is a judge. Suddenly, the offer was gone because “we took to long“ and our suitcases were back out by the minute. We later found out that this offer is made pretty often since the hotel has occasional problems with overbooking, and that the other hotel has pretty bad reviews and seems to have a big issue with cockroaches (can’t really say anything about that, we weren’t there). Mind you, we were three young girls and it was our first time travelling alone, so this whole situation did not leave us feeling safe at all. Afterwards, we asked for access to the luggage room, which was denied, as it was full. The other room to store our luggage wasn‘t locked, so we just stayed in the hotel lobby for 3 and a half hours until we could check in. Same situation at check out. Our room was pretty nice, clean and very large. The furniture and the bathroom seemed a little bit dated, which we didn‘t mind at all, since we were on a budget trip anyways and picked the hotel because of its cheap price. The mattresses were pretty hard tho. We also had a very nice and large balcony. One thing you should keep on mind is that you have to pay extra for ac and the safe. The property itself was quite nice as well and mostly clean. The pool is not necessarily large, but definitely big enough for us. We were on half board, but I, as a picky eater, barely found anything to eat. I mostly had bread for breakfast and dinner. This is not a problem the average person will have here, as there is a decent choice, which according to my friends, tasted decent to good as well. As a family friendly hotel, I would have expected more “basic foods“ that are universally liked. I even asked if I could get plain spaghetti (they had spaghetti carbonara that day) or something similar without sauce, but unfortunately, they were not able to accommodate that. Keep in mind that no drinks are included whatsoever. The location is okay if you know what to expect. Analipsi is pretty small and there is not too much to see and do (I highly recommend the Areya Bar or the Palm Beach Club in Hersonnisos), the beach is about 500m away, but

The hotel is located in a god location for the beach and local restaurants. The apartments are spacious and clean. Pool area is lovely but limited sun beds however this did not cause a problem for us. We were on the all inclusive package. The food was tasty. However the drinks included were very limited. Descriptions when booking stating local spirits.. which they were.. the only spirits on offer were Ouzo, Raki or Vermouths. Any other spirits were available at an extra charge. I would expect ‘local spirits’ to be a full range of spirits eg vodka, rum, gin etc but the local brand. This was disappointing. Nice friendly hotel. Although no entertainment at night. Nice hotel if you want a relaxing, friendly hotel.

The room we booked is absolutely not the same we got, it was a big disappointment, the only good thing was the teamwork except that we had to deal everyday with the old lady at the reception fighting with employees and clients) not very peaceful place to relax and enjoy your holidays

The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. They solve problems quickly. The food is delicious. The chef makes sure that everyone enjoys the taste. The cuisine also includes seafood. The only problem that appeared was the weak wifi, but it will be fixed for sure.

As others have experienced, we had booked another hotel that was overbooked so ended up here (this is part 2 of my 3 part hotel trip in Crete). On arrival the manager was very welcoming and apologetic, however this was not the hotel we booked, so instantly had reservations. I am rating this on a 4* all inclusive basis. Room - large and no issues, cleaners everyday. Facilities - based on what we were expecting (slides, multiple pools etc.) this was lacking! The saving grace was a quiet pool mostly, however this was used by all the youths come an evening. The pool was also not well maintained as there were loose slabs around it. Food - Breakfast very repative, not a huge choice. Lunch - very good, this was by far the best meal, it was not served buffet and you ordered from a menu. Food was very good, and the bar lady who served was very good. Evening meal - tasty, but not much choice, I was always OK but my daughter and wife were less than impressed. All inclusive drinks - fully understood the limited selection, however the wine was really bad! Not only that, but as an all inclusive guest you are treated badly, no table service and you're only allowed plastic! I had to more or less plead for a real glass with my evening meal. This really makes me uncomfortable as an all inclusive guest and made me feel a second rate guest!! This really played on us. Location was good, near a good beach. Part way through our stay, our booking company found another hotel, this will form part 3 of the saga..... On checkout of this hotel I was made to feel even more awkward by being asked to sign a waiver stating I would not sue them, and the accommodation was just as good. If this has happened to you, you do not need to sign this, and I advice you do not sign this! Overall I feel a 3 star is generous, and is mostly this rating due to the staff.
