Bellos Hotel Apartments

Erste Entschuldigung, sehr späte Rezension. Erstklassiger, fantastischer Urlaub. Wir kamen im Mai 2022 zum dritten Mal an. Eric begrüßte mich sofort und sagte zu Margaret, wo Hugh ist. Toller Start vom Personal, das einen nie vergisst. Er eilte sofort raus und half mit den Koffern. Dann kam er zurück in die Bar und sagte, dass wir den ersten Drink auf uns zukommen lassen würden, was für ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub. Während unseres gesamten Urlaubs hat jeder Mitarbeiter sein Möglichstes getan, um sicherzustellen, dass unser Urlaub perfekt war. Unser Zimmer war fantastisch, direkt am Pool gelegen, eine Etage höher, das beste Zimmer überhaupt, direkt über der Statue des Kellners. Das Wetter in dieser Woche war strahlender Sonnenschein. Die Unterhaltung war außergewöhnlich, vor allem das Barbi am Sa, bevor wir abreisten. Herr und Frau Bellos, Ihre Mitarbeiter sind eine Ehre für Sie. Vielen Dank an alle, Eric, Maria, Thanos, Gerad Meda und alle Hausangestellten. Auch das Essen in der Küche war fabelhaft. Es hat uns die Entscheidung, zurückzukommen, sehr leicht gemacht, also kommen wir am 18. Juni 2023 für zwei Wochen zurück. Was kann ich sagen, eine absolut ausgezeichnete Unterkunft mit sehr sauberen Zimmern, einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Poolbereich, wo es zu jeder Tageszeit kein Problem ist, eine Sonnenliege zu bekommen. Das Personal ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit, 5 Sterne Meiner Meinung nach ist das Essen auch ausgezeichnet, egal ob es sich nur um einen Snack oder eine Hauptmahlzeit handelt. Ich würde dieses Lokal wärmstens empfehlen

This was our 2nd time here after 2 and a half years and was made to feel like a regular as they remembered us from last time and greeted us with big hugs. We requested a high room this time and we got a good one room 403 (little joke I had with staff) which was perfect as got most of the afternoon sun on the balcony but didn't get too hot in the room as sun was at an angle not facing directly at our balcony. First night we got there earlier this time so had time to enjoy some drinks and started with a strawberry daiquiri made by the man Thanos who is now the evening bar manager since Eric left and he gave us them on the house being the lovely man he is and they were so good. Most of the other staff were also different since our last visit Jonathan and Emma were the evening waiters and they were both so lovely I really hope they stay there as we felt very close to both of them and they worked incredibly hard never standing still always on the move and talking to all of the guests such lovely people they are. Can't remember the name of the Dutch guy who did all the entertainment he did tell me numerous times but I just called him Mr Dam as he was from Amsterdam and he is another lovely man such a cool guy and a great asset to the team. In the day time there was also some new faces Kostas at the pool bar by the slides who we didn't get to speak to much as we were out most days and only went down there once but he seemed lovely too, Alex who was the waiter in the bar taking the orders from the pool bars and even brought our snacks to our room and the lovely Hannah who does the other pool bar when it's open and she's another new addition I was very impressed with and chatted with a few times. Alex Bellos is now the day time manager and it was great to catch up with him again as we have a lot of similar interests. The lovely Maria is still there and does the main restaurant upstairs but does come down to the bar and is always smiling another absolute asset to the place. The hotel grounds are still absolutely immaculate and beautiful they work so hard to keep everything looking good and it really shows it definitely doesn't look like a 3 star resort imo. The day time food is still absolutely spot on especially the club sandwich which comes with loads of chips and was the best I'd ever tasted, we didn't eat anything from the restaurant menu as we were out quite a lot of the time but we did come back late (after midnight) and they would do us a burger, pizza or toasty or even call a local takeaway for you nothing is too much trouble with this place. Like I said we were out a lot more this time but when we did use the bar there was always plenty of choice of drinks and we enjoyed the time we did spend there. The only negative things for us was the old little shop at the top has now been turned into apartments so there's no onsite shop so had to walk up to the village or down to town to get any room stuff and although I obviously already knew the location

We have just come back from a brilliant holiday at Bellos. The hotel it’s self is absolutely stunning, the grounds are so beautifully kept and maintained so well the view when having breakfast was amazing. I have never been to a hotel where the atmosphere is just so chilled and relaxed, we did go in September so it might of been a bit quieter but there was no rush for sun loungers at either pool, the main pool area there was always lots of space and it was so chilled. The second pool with the water slides you could always get a lounger no matter what time of day you went. Each pool area has a bar serving drinks and food. Our room was a 1 bed room apartment which slept 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 9) it was spacious, clean and had everything we needed and also a balcony overlooking the pool and bar area. The location for us was great, yes there are some hills but taxis are cheap enough and run regularly and efficiently. The views when walking are well worth the hills. The food was also amazing, we were half board and there was always something we all loved to eat, my youngest is the worlds pickiest eater and she ate more than all of us every night. The main thing that makes this hotel so amazing is the staff, every single staff member was so pleasant, kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble they really did make our holiday. Overall our stay at Bellos was amazing and we’re all ready in the process of booking to go back next year. Thank you to everyone at Bellos who made our holiday so good.

Basic apartments inside and neat. You can’t make a meal so need to dine in the restaurant or go out. You need to taxi at night as no lighting on the hill at all. Most staff nice, guy down at kids pool nice. Would not return as have been to better in Greece.

We actually visited in September 2023 and I forgot to leave a review. We still talk about how amazing this holiday was. It is quite a walk from the beach and situated on a hill but if you don't have mobility issues then don't let this stop you from staying at this amazing hotel! Rooms are lovely for the price we paid. Breakfast delicious. Food in evening was beautiful... ordered the moussaka on two occasions! Cocktails again, amazing! Huge thank you to erik and his entertainment! Greek night was wonderful. Bbq night wonderful. Pools are small but not crowded. Kids all enjoyed the pool with the slides. Bars close to both pools both open. Bar staff very chatty and accommodating. They made the effort to happily go to the top bar to get me a pitcher of wine. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff really make this place as well as the beautifully kept pools and gardens. If we visit hersonnisos again, this will be our place to stay!
