Mein Mann und ich machten einen Übernachtreise nach Hershey in diesem Wochenende. Wir hatten schon immer gute Erfahrungen in Marriott Hotels, so das sah aus wie ein guter Ort zu bleiben. Die Lage ist großartig - sehr nahe der Stadt Hershey und HersheyPark/Chocolate World - und das Front Desk Personal war schön. Das sind die positiven. Wir zahlen $357 für eine Nacht (Königzimmer), was nach dem AAA Rabatt war, und nicht nur war es ein schmutziger Geruch im Zimmer, die Einrichtungen waren einfach nicht da. Wir wechselten den kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer; zweieinhalb Stunden später war es noch nicht das geringste Kühlschrank. Kurz nachdem wir ins Bad gefahren waren, hörten wir einen Lärm im Bad; der Duschekopf drehte auf den Abwasser, das langen Metallstreifen entlang der Dusche war, so dass wir einen zusätzlichen Handtuch über ihn gelegt haben, damit wir nicht das Drehen auf dem Metall hören. Der Fan im Badezimmer war nicht nur nicht arbeitend, es war schüchtern. Die Seifebar, die sie im Bad abgegeben haben, betrug die Größe eines kleinen Cookies, und sie hatten nicht einmal eine einfache Box von Geweben im Zimmer (dankbar hätten wir uns selbst gebracht, auf beiden Seiten). Und während wir vor der Zeit wussten, dass die Gebühr nicht ein kontinentales Frühstück (wir haben bei anderen Marriotts für weniger geblieben und es wurde enthalten), ging mein Mann am Morgen auf den Fußboden des ”Bistro”, um uns einige Saft zu bekommen - es kostet $11.66 für eine Flasche Tropicana Orange Juice und eine Flasche Tropicana Krabbenjuice 10-ounce. Wirklich?? Es kostet mehr, eine einfache Flasche Saft zu bekommen, als es ein Bagel zu bekommen, das allein $4 war. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, Zumindest, und trotz der Bequemlichkeit, wie nah es an die guten Teile von Hershey war, würden wir dieses überpreiste Hotel nicht empfehlen.

This was a very nice clean hotel. The staff was friendly. I loved that they had boards with recommendations of restaurants, attractions.and other things for you to do. The hotel is close to Hershey. We felt very safe in the location. Great location for families

The staff was friendly and very efficient. The breakfast options were enough to cover most appetites or diet and very clean. The rooms could use some upgrades. The furniture was mared and could use some TLC. The bathroom was definitely clean and well stocked. The bed very comfortable. My one complaint was the ironing board cover. Stained and gross in my opinion as that would cost minimal to replace. Easy check in and out and close to Hershey Park and large option of restaurants near by.

This would had been a 5 stars review but giving it a 3 stars.. It was a birthday surprise for my daughter. We checked in late at night at 11:30pm on Friday, July 5th. We stayed for two nights. I was greeted by a gentleman in front and he assisted me. He was really nice and kind. My husband, daughter and I went to our room on the second floor. The room was spacious and nice. The room was clean. It had a little living room with a couch and a kitchenette. It had a full size fridge, dish washer and garbage dispose which is a plus. Bathroom is decent might need some cleaning. It looks like there was a little molded in the standing shower. One of the bath towels had like some hair on it. We had two queens beds. I lifted the sheets to make sure it was clean. The mattress protector had like ripped holes. It was late at night and did not realize in the morning that there was a stain on the blanket. I do not know what it was but it looked like chocolate stains or blood. Also the bedsheets were making us a bit itchy. My husband and I were disgusted by it. Now we were questioning it the sheets were even changed. On our way leaving to go to Hershey park, I stopped by the front desk to ask if we can get the sheets and blanket changed because there was a stain on it. The lady was nice and said I wipll get someone to change it for you. The bedsheets are not changed everyday but every other day depending the length of the stay. Also the room gets service and clean every day. When we returned (7 hrs later), the bedsheets and blankets were not changed. I do not think the room was serviced either. Trash were not emptied. I understand it was the holiday weekend and it was busy. We were very disappointed. The breakfast was good. They offered make your own waffles with varieties of toppings, hot oatmeal, warm breakfast sandwiches, egg & cheese omelettes, veggie egg white omelettes, toast, bagel, cereal and yogurt. Overall for the hotel, spacious room and the breakfast were good. Our biggest cons were the dirty bedsheets and blankets. Then asking to have it changed and it wasn’t done. The shower had molded in it and bath towel had hair on it. I do not know if we will stay here again..
