Nach der Registrierung unseres Aufenthalts ist es auch sehr enthusiastisch, uns mit warmem Kaffee und warmem Wasser und Schokolade zu helfen. Das Zimmerbett ist sehr komfortabel und sehr sauber. Aber die Fitness-Ausstattung ist sehr einfach. Obwohl das Frühstück nicht viel ist, ist es sehr lecker in unseren kostengünstigen Hotelunterkünften über zehn Tage, und es wird nicht gefiltert."

"Das Zimmer war in einem Gebäude des Großvaters, daher gibt es keinen Aufzug für den 2. Stock. Das war ein Nachteil, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir mehrere Reisen unternehmen mussten, um Sachen ins Zimmer zu bringen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und hatte einen Balkon mit Blick auf das Wasser. Die andere Enttäuschung war, dass es keine funktionierende Eismaschine gab, also mussten wir ein paar Gebäude hinübergehen, um Eis zu holen. Das Zimmer hatte einige Tassen und Besteck, aber nichts zum Waschen (kein Einweg). Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und hatte eine schöne Lage, was es akzeptabel machte. Für den Preis sollte es mehr Annehmlichkeiten geben, so dass das Zimmer den Preis nicht wert ist. Wir haben einen Rabatt bekommen, also war es in Ordnung, würde nie den vollen Preis zahlen. Sie können leicht zu Fuß zur Bucht und zum Restaurant gehen, das war ein Plus."

This space is all about having a good time with family and friends. The private canal system is located directly behind Seahorse River House (formerly Siren’s Cove) where you can tie up your boat or take a provided kayak, paddle board or tube directly to the beautiful Weeki Wachee River or the open Gulf. A trip upstream features crystal clear waters, Florida wildlife including manatees and even dolphins for an experience that you'll never forget. Continue downstream with beautiful views and restaurants along the shore and ending with access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Within an easy 20-minute drive from the Seahorse River House you will find restaurants, shopping, movies, and a community theatre. The Upper Deck and La Bella Napoli are great family friendly restaurants located within walking distance and the grocery stores and bars are just a short drive away.
Relax and enjoy a large concrete entertainment area with lots of outdoor seating. There is also a large screened in area to sit, eat and hang out. There is a lot of space for entertainment. We provide 7 adult & 2 youth kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 5 tubes, 1 canoe and life jackets for a leisurely paddle down the canal into the Weeki Wachee Springs (4 minutes away). There is also a bike available to use.
The Weeki Wachee Springs state park is 4.6 miles away and has a live underwater performance by the nationally recognized Weeki Wachee Mermaids. Your family can get a first-hand encounter with some of Florida’s native wildlife with the wildlife shows at the park. You can even take a river boat cruse for an educational one of a kind experience.
For your convenience, you will find a washer and dryer inside the home. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, wall oven, electric stove stop, toaster, Keurig coffee pot a microwave and all the utensils you should need.
The upstairs balcony has a seating area, the large living room has nice leather reclining couches for you to relax and watch a movie on Netflix or Prime Video (DVD selection also provided). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The guest room has 2 twin beds and a queen bed. There is also a nice 6 seat dining table as well as a foosball table.
Three flat screen TVs are provided, one for each of the two bedrooms and one for the living room area. Firesticks are installed on the bedroom tvs and the living room has a smart tv. WiFi is provided. Seahorse River House has 2 full bathrooms, including a huge soaking tub in the master bath. There is also a half bath under the house on the ground level.
We emphasis cleanliness and have housekeepers come in after each stay to thoroughly clean and sanitize the home. Garbage pick-up is included and is picked up Tuesdays and Fridays. We ask that you place the garbage cans at the end of the driveway.
Guest access
Guests are free to enjoy the entire home and we have a large concrete hang out area downstairs that includes a nice bug-free screened in porch area downstairs right on the private canal.

Within an easy 20-minute drive from the Seahorse River House you will find restaurants, shopping, movies, and a community theatre. The Upper Deck and La Bella Napoli are great family friendly restaurants located within walking distance and the grocery stores and bars are just a short drive away.
Relax and enjoy a large concrete entertainment area with lots of outdoor seating. There is also a large screened in area to sit, eat and hang out. There is a lot of space for entertainment. We provide 7 adult & 2 youth kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 5 tubes, 1 canoe and life jackets for a leisurely paddle down the canal into the Weeki Wachee Springs (4 minutes away). There is also a bike available to use.
The Weeki Wachee Springs state park is 4.6 miles away and has a live underwater performance by the nationally recognized Weeki Wachee Mermaids. Your family can get a first-hand encounter with some of Florida’s native wildlife with the wildlife shows at the park. You can even take a river boat cruse for an educational one of a kind experience.
For your convenience, you will find a washer and dryer inside the home. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, wall oven, electric stove stop, toaster, Keurig coffee pot a microwave and all the utensils you should need.
The upstairs balcony has a seating area, the large living room has nice leather reclining couches for you to relax and watch a movie on Netflix or Prime Video (DVD selection also provided). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The guest room has 2 twin beds and a queen bed. There is also a nice 6 seat dining table as well as a foosball table.
Three flat screen TVs are provided, one for each of the two bedrooms and one for the living room area. Firesticks are installed on the bedroom tvs and the living room has a smart tv. WiFi is provided. Seahorse River House has 2 full bathrooms, including a huge soaking tub in the master bath. There is also a half bath under the house on the ground level.
We emphasis cleanliness and have housekeepers come in after each stay to thoroughly clean and sanitize the home. Garbage pick-up is included and is picked up Tuesdays and Fridays. We ask that you place the garbage cans at the end of the driveway.
Guest access
Guests are free to enjoy the entire home and we have a large concrete hang out area downstairs that includes a nice bug-free screened in porch area downstairs right on the private canal.

If you want to see more of the gulf, there are plenty of places to rent a boat and run over to the sandbar for the day. We are just a quick jaunt to Rogers Beach and Hospital Hole. There are numerous places around for food and fun including: the world famous mermaids of Weeki Wachee! Enjoy your stay with all the amenities you need to be at home, away from home. The ICONIC Mermaid Manor, possibly the most popular vacation home in Weeki Wachee. Fully caged, heated pool!! Glamping and its finest.
Dogs welcome. Any size. But must be friendly and well behaved. Yard is fully fenced for their safety.
Mermaid Manor is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath pool home. Heated pool with built in seats is completely enclosed under enormous screened lanai. Lanai has lots of gathering space with loungers, dining tables and a gas grill. We have kayaks, life vests and paddles to explore the beautiful clear springs and watch the manatees. There is on site parking for your boat trailer. The boat launch is less that 1 mile away at Rogers Park which also has a sandy beach.
Our home is on a 100 ft waterfront bulkhead located on a deep canal with direct access to the Weeki Wachee river and only 20 minute idle to the gulf. 7 minute car ride to the Pine Island Beach to watch beautiful sunsets.
There is an abundance of local waterfront restaurants that afford plenty of opportunity to cater to just about every taste. Mermaid Manor is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath pool home. Heated pool with built in seats is completely enclosed under enormous screened lanai. Lanai has lots of gathering space with loungers, dining tables and a gas grill. We have kayaks, life vests and paddles to explore the beautiful clear springs and watch the manatees.
