Great , modern , hotel a walk form the waterfront , out of the tourist district .Overlooks one of the many beautiful Venetian squares in Heraklion . It's in the old city (no private vehicle parking) After dinner , kids play in the square , with watchful parents . Much better than listening to carousing tourists all night .

Nachdem wir in einem außergewöhnlich heißen Tag über Kreta gereist sind, haben wir die oft verrückten Straßen von Heraklion Navigationswege gefunden, um dieses Geschmack eines Ortes zu finden. brillantes Personal, Wohnung und Ausstattung!! Wir fanden die Wohnung sehr modern mit allen Mod-Cons und mehr! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr lokal informiert und großzügig mit ihrer Zeit und Hilfe. Wir konnten das nicht sehr empfehlen. Als Familie von vier ist es oft schwer, diese Art von Reisen gut zu machen und wir brauchten eine Nacht in Komfort vor einem frühen Fähre nach Santorini. Ich wünschte, wir hätten hier eine Nacht geplant, um in Luxus etwas mehr zu kühlen. Der Pool ist hilarisch klein, aber gut Spaß und nicht zu vermeiden, auch wenn es andere genießen es’s bijou Status. Es gibt auch einen anständigen Gym mit Laufband und verschiedenen Gewichtsaufnahme-Geräte! Jetzt buchen!

The hotel itself is beautiful. Modern and impeccably renovated. Great attention to detail. Beautiful shared courtyard in the middle of the unit. It’s also near some very good restaurants and historic sights. Just be forewarned that there is urban renewal going on in this area and that the few blocks between the commercial area and the hotel can be a little unnerving.

Simply amazing decor to match the great history of Crete, particularly the Minoan civilization, clean spaces, and excellent communication for late arrival to the hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance to the Archaeological Museum, yummy seafood restaurants, the bus and taxi stations, if one wants to visit the birthplace of Zeus/cave or the famous monastery. Dimitris, his son, and Mary were very friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear Mary's historical knowledge of ancient Egyptian and ancient Greek civilization-- the friends of the ancient Khmer civilization. Definitely recommended.

Fabulous hotel, everything you need for a stay is in the room. Very clean, it’s a very modern hotel super smart. It was also very easy to reach from the main highway . There is street parking…area felt very safe…but also a 3 minute walk there is parking..multi story …8 euros per 24 hours Katerina who runs the suites was very professional and very lovely. 10 min walk to the high street, 5 mins from restaurants and coffee shops. Close to the museum.

Wir ( 2 Erw. + 1 Kind 11 Jahre) sind von Rhodos nach Kreta geflogen. Da der Flug sehr spät in Kreta angekommen ist, haben wir für eine Nacht hier eine Superior Suite gebucht. Da die Rezeption so spät nicht mehr besetzt war und wir dies bei der Buchung angegeben haben, haben wir alle notwendigen Zugangsdaten per Email bzw. per Whats App erhalten. Top. Das Appartement war super groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Im Kühlschrank war kostenloses Wasser vorhanden. Die Zimmer waren alle super sauber und alle Möbel in gutem Zustand. Die Betten waren groß und super bequem. Frühstück gab es im Restaurant direkt neben den Wohnungen. War sehr lecker und viel. Wir sind bis zu unserer Weiterfahrt etwas die Straßen entlangmarschiert. Hier gibt es viele Läden und Cafés.

Everyday they ask you if you want your room to be cleaned and they are always available to help you. I 100% recommend it and will definitely stay again!

The absolute pergect studio! Pleiades is a hidden treasure in the centre of Heraklion! From the excellent amenitites to the the fluffy towels and the very accomodating woman that maintained the cleaning, I cannot say enough good things. The studio is exactly as shown in the pictures (if not better), spotless cleaning and with everything you may need inside. Every day I was given fresh coffee capsules but there is also available a variety of tea, the bed is very comfortable with a big smart TV. Even the design is contemporary and beautiful. The staff answered all my questions in a timely manner and they were very polite and accommodating but the cleaning lady is the best of the best, always discreet and with a smile. I will definitely will book again for my next stay

Für drei Nächte waren wir Mitte Oktober 2021 im Dom Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und hell eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer ist schön gestaltet und verfügte bei uns auch über ein Fenster zum Hinterhof. Die Zimmer zum Hinterhof sind ruhig gelegen. Nur die startenden Flugzeuge hört man etwas durch die guten und schallisolierten Fenster. Das ist aber sicherlich bei allen Hotels im Stadtzentrum von Heraklion der Fall. Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut um von dort aus die Stadt zu erkunden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut und schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Alle Mitarbeiter im Hotel waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere bei Costa (Bar- und Frühstücksservice) möchten wir uns nochmal bedanken, für die guten Tipps und den empfohlenen Segelbootausflug. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis inklusive, mit einer großen Auswahl an guten Produkten und köstlichen Kreationen. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr hell gestaltet und bietet eine gute und ruhige Atmosphäre für einen Start in den Tag. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel Dom sehr empfehlen. Preisleistung, Service, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, Zimmerausstattung, Qualität der Speisen und der Getränke an Bar, alles sehr gut.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

GGuest UserFor many years I have traveled 100 or more days a year. In SEP-OCT 2022, I traveled for a month in Greece staying at 12 hotels (and on an overnight Ferry). In this context and related to price, Heraklion Old Port Apartments was above average. PROS: Cost was very reasonable. The room with living room was clean, very spacious and with a well provided kitchen and fridge (supermarket food was extremely inexpensive in Crete). There were extra towels so no need for service. The young woman at the desk was very helpful and cordial. CONS: Close to the old port but about 700 meters to center of town and more to the National Museum or the main bus station (to Knossos or to the beaches). Still all can be reach by walking. The add say the room had great views which did not materialize. Heraklion has a lively main street around the fountain of the lions and a Great museum on the Minoan civilization which was spectacular. The museum in Heraklion was great but Knossos (reach by city bus) was very disappointing since I care for historical archaeology and not for the distorted recreation of the site by an over-imaginative British amateur. The beaches near Heraklion (which can be reach by inexpensive regular city buses) are adequate but not spectacular. In late September the beaches were not crowded at all, but still with warm water to swim. Heraklion was of interest in itself and where I rented the car to visit the rest of Crete (Xania with a picturesque Venetian port, spectacular Elefonsina Beach great for snorkeling, great ruins of Faestos, and many other atttractions). I spent 6 nights in Crete and could have enjoyed another week at least. Next trip I will stay longer in Crete. Parting remarks: Greece is wonderful, except for the touristic islands which were crowded even in October and I may skip them altogether next time. The Peloponesse resulted better than expected. Athens was safe anytime anywhere I moved, even after midnight. Travel light because not all hotels have elevators and in ancient towns you will climb many stairs and walk over cobblestones. Missing church number 59 was OK, sitting in a café watching people go by and doing nothing was inspiring even for hyper me. I had a wonderful trip.

GGuest UserL’appartement est très bien situé au centre d’Héraklion. Il est à 20 minutes d’auto à partir de l’aéroport. Sur la même rue, il y a un parking souterrain payant (12 euros) que nous avons utilisé à 5 occasions sans aucun problème. Il y a aussi une épicerie, des boulangeries, des restaurants et une multitude de commerces tout autour. Géographiquement, l’emplacement est idéal. Nous avons résidé à l’appartement 1 du 4e étage. Une chambre fermée, une salle de bains, un grand salon - cuisine. Le balcon est toutefois le point fort de cet appartement. Il est grand, et on y relaxe bien en fin de journée. Le matin, on vous laisse à déjeuner pour deux: céréales, lait, œufs, confitures, pain, etc. Cependant , l’appartement aurait besoin d’un peu plus d’équipement: micro-ondes, ciseaux, grille-pain, planche à repasser, commodes, cintres (il n’y en avait que 6)… Pour ce qui est de la salle de bains, elle est très petite et elle manque cruellement de tablettes pour s’organiser. Hormis cela, nous pouvons affirmer que l’appartement est parfait pour un court séjour de 2-3 nuits. Quand vous y restez pour plus d’une semaine, vous vous rendez compte, à ce moment, du manque d’équipement. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et font de leur mieux pour répondre à nos besoins.

HHanhphucWir hatten die Halbpension gebucht, es gab für 5 Nächte das gleiche Menü. Nur wenige Gerichte und die Gerichte sind nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Die Speisekarte für andere Kunden ist besser. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben am 5. Tag nichts gegessen, weil die Menüs gleich waren. Nur wenige Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Ich empfehle für dieses Hotel keine Halbpension.
