The hotel is below average and obviously sells because of its central location in Heraklion. This is its only advantage. Otherwise : A lot of noise from early morning (big banging, etc.) - to the point where you can't rest. Small and uncomfortable rooms. (They don't even have hangers in the bathroom for towels!) The rooms show strong signs of abandonment. They need renovation. Very modest breakfast, with only the very basics. Everything served is without taste! Only low quality filter coffee is served - without taste. If one wants to get a decent coffee, they must order it from the cafe bar at the entrance and is charged. There is a scale for weighting luggage at the reception. Requires a fee of 1 Euro !!! The staff, although very polite, are not happy or cheerful with clients. To ξενοδοχείο είναι κάτω του μετρίου και προφανώς πουλάει λόγω της θέσης του που είναι σε κεντρικό σημείο του Ηρακλείου. Αυτό αποτελεί το μόνο του πλεονέκτημα. Κατα τα άλλα : Πολύ θόρυβος από τα ξημερώματα (κρούση μεγάλων κτλ) - σε σημείο να μη μπορεί να ξεκουραστεί κανείς. Μικρά και άβολα δωμάτια. (Δεν έχουν ούτε κρεμάστρες στο μπάνιο για τις πετσέτες !) Τα δωμάτια δείχνουν έντονα σημάδια εγκατάλειψης. Χρειάζονται ανακαίνιση. Πολύ λιτό πρωινό, με τα πολύ βασικά μόνο. Πολύ άνοστα όλα ! Καφές μόνο φίλτρου και χωρίς γεύση. Αν θέλει κανείς να πάρει έναν αξιοπρεπή καφέ, τον παραγγέλνει από το cafe bar της εισοδου και χρεώνεται. Υπάρχει χρέωση 1 Ευρώ για να ζυγίσει κάποιος τη βαλίτσα του !!! Το προσωπικό, αν και πολύ ευγενικό, δεν είναι καθόλου πρόσχαρο.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights in July 2022. There were eight of us in total so two families. The location is absolutely perfect as it is right in the middle of Heraklion, opposite the bustling square with its wonderful with its Artisan stalls which are worth visiting and only a short walk to the shops and wonderful selection of restaurants. Heraklion is a truly bustling and Cosmopolitan city. The Hotel is very close to Heraklion Archaeological Museum and a bus or taxi ride to the beach. It is also not too far from the port you can walk there but we took a very quick taxi due to the heat. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome and our baggage was taken to our room for us. The reception area is refreshing to walk into from the heat outside and the decor is lovely and very modern with a comfortable seating area. There is a downstairs bar which is very chic with beautiful artwork where you can eat and you can just walk through to the shops outside to have a mooch with is perfect. Our check in process was very smooth and efficient. Check out is at 12 and check in is at 2. We had travelled from Chania by taxi. and were a little early. The gentleman on reception was able to find our group a room to check into while they got our other rooms ready which was very helpful and we did not have to wait too long. We had the economy rooms two different types between us. The ones which have balconies and the ones which are inside but don't have a balcony. The latter were a bit bigger than the ones with the balcony and the children's bed has its own little area which we really liked. The bathroom and room were very clean and the cleaners were very helpful and polite. We had a small fridge all the usual amenities you would expect and the air conditioning always worked well. I really feel (being from the UK) that the hotel represents very good value for the price we paid - if we were to pay a similar price in England we would not be staying in nearly such a nice hotel that's for sure. Certainly not one with a pool on the roof! We absolutely loved the roof area. The pool is quite small (but still big enough to have a lovely, cool swim). The pool area is clean and there are sunbeds and chairs you can sit on around the pool and plenty of place to sunbathe. It is absolutely lovely the perfect place to relax and take in the view. They also have a lifeguard up there at all times which we were not expecting. The pool is open until 8 at night but you can still go up to the roof for drinks and to eat your dinner after this time. They also provide towels for you which is great. The bar on the roof is absolutely excellent and the service is impeccable. The bar staff and waiters and waitresses work so hard and are so friendly (whilst also remaining professional). The bar food is great especially the mini burgers and the club sandwiches are to die for. You can also have dinner up on the roof and there are lots of lovely tables and chairs to chose fro

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Zentrum und man kann dort alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Durch seine Lage büßt es aber auch deutlich in Ruhe und Erholung ein. Der Verkehr, insbesondere die sehr lautstarken Motorengeräusche von Zweirädern, aber auch die extrem laute Musik der Autos junger Leute, machen einem deutlich zu schaffen und sind überaus störend. Auch die unmittelbar angrenzenden Bars bzw. Restaurants sind alles andere als von Vorteil hinsichtlich Ruhe. Als wir da waren, wurde fast jeden Abend Livemusik gespielt, derer man sich nicht erwehren konnte. Diese wurde bis in die Nacht gespielt. Andere Gäste schaffen es tatsächlich ihre Zimmertür in zwei Minuten zehnmal zu öffnen und zu dchließen. Und schließen meint die Tür zufallen zu lassen. Es gab mehrere Nächte, in denen wir mehrmals von der Musik, dem Verkehr oder anderen Gästen aus dem Schlaf gerissen wurden. In keiner von neun Nächten konnten wir durchschlafen! Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt auch deutlich zu wünschen übrig. An unserem Waschbecken waren gelbliche Anhaftungen, die, obwohl die Reinigungsfachkraft täglich da war, nicht entfernt wurde. Bereitgestellte Flüssigseife wurde erst dann aufgefüllt, wenn man den Spender irgendwo im Zimmer mit benutzen Gläsern abgestellt bzw. gesammelt hatte. Die Gläser bzw. Tassen wurden nicht durch saubere ersetzt. Sie wurden notdürftig und sehr oberflächlich gereinigt und verblieben im Zimmer. Teilweise hatten sie nach der Reinigung noch die selben durch uns verursachten Dreckanhaftungen. Ich möchte gar nicht wissen, was von den Gästen davor noch in den Gläsern und Tassen war. Der Duschkopf war defekt. Seitlich trat Wasser in einem etwa 90 Gradwinkel aus, sodass man beim Duschen darauf achten musste das Zimmer nicht zu fluten. Der Deckel des Abflusses lag während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts lose in der Dusche. Niemand, auch wir nicht, fühlte sich berufen, diesen wieder einzusetzen. Ein Vergrößerungsspiegel war bereits In Teilen aus seiner Verankerung gerissen. Ein Tablet, welches sich auf jedem Zimmer befindet, hatte ein Ladekabel, das bereits bis auf die Adern beschädigt war. Hier bestand Verletzungs- bzw. Lebensgefahr! Auf selbigen Tablet waren noch gut 40 Pornoseiten des Gastes zuvor geöffnet. Die Software auf dem Tablet ist veraltet und das Tablet mittels Benutzerkonten geschützt. So kann z. B. keine aktuelle YouTube-Version installiert und YouTube genutzt werden. Es bleibt nur der mühsame Weg über einen Browser. Es gibt kein Badezimmer. Die Toilette befindet sich in einem kleinen Raum. Dusche und Waschbecken befinden sich mitten im Zimmer. Wer einen Pool oder Badestrand sucht, wird in diesem Hotel nicht fündig. Das Frühstück wird in einem fensterlosen Keller gereicht. Ein gewisses Maß an Auswahl wird zwar geboten, ist aber sehr dürftig. Bei dem Kaffee handelt es sich um Filterkaffee. Cappuccino usw. kann zusätzlich erworben werden, ist aber nicht im Frühstück inbegriffen. Und das, obwohl das Hotel ein eigenes Restaurant / eigene Bar hat.

Lots of great things to say about the service and assistance..location was also convenient to buses,dining and sites...Basic room, small,no tea/coffee or waste bin outside of bathroom. No toiletries but a complimentary bottle of water day one ..no room for a chair ..just bed and desk.. very compact..Breakfast was included but stayed the same every day and options were limited. If your ok with basic then it would suit but you may be disappointed if your looking for a kettle...finally think twice if you book a city view room, it overlooks a highly trafficked street,lots of noise and a view of alleys.we picked ocean view and while the balcony was tiny the view was superb

Der Hotelparkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Hotel. Das Hotel befindet sich am Straßenrand. Ich bin ungefähr zweimal gefahren, um es zu finden. Die Fassade ist relativ klein. Aber die internen Einrichtungen sind gut und das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich. Es ist auch praktisch, um das Hotel herum zu essen. Dieser Preis kann im Fünf-Sterne-Hotel auf Kreta liegen. Ich denke, der Preis ist gut

Uniche note positive la gentilezza dello staff alla reception e le bottiglie d'acqua omaggio nel frigo bar. Per il resto assolutamente sconsigliato, la nostra stanza era un piano terra soppalcato umido e claustrofobico, in 4 ci si muoveva a stento, aria condizionata appena percettibile e cattivo odore. Il bagno,piccolissimo, bisognava fare manovra per entrare, con la porta che si apriva sbattendo sul wc e si restava praticamente incastrati. Colazione pessima, scelta misera fra briochine imbustate con qualità da discount, la ragazza addetta alla colazione con l'aria sfuggente e annoiata. Non comprendo le recensioni positive ed entusiaste, purtroppo ci hanno guidato male nella scelta di questo hotel, che di ”luxury ” non ha niente, oltretutto non ha parcheggio e non ha nessuna posizione vantaggiosa rispetto alla città e all'aeroporto,anzi è posizionato fuori mano e in una zona squallida. 170 euro per una notte si potevano spendere molto meglio.

I couldn’t fault it, it is absolutely amazing more than I expected. The interior design is amazing and professionally done, bathroom design gave me ideas for our new home. It’s near shops but having a car is a must, Crete is one large and beautiful island. The restaurant outside is amazing and we also found a great cafe down the road which had great food.

The hotel is well situated close to the airport and there are numerous beaches in walking distance. It is a family run hotel, and there is a very friendly atmosphere. No effort is spared in keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The breakfast is appetizing and the selection is varied. Why stay in the city in summertime. It’s wiser to stay at a beachfront hotel . They is adequate parking area in front and to the side of the hotel. The hotel exceeded expectations.
