The Grape Leaf Inn

Charming place. Rooms were large and it was quiet and quant. Was underwhelmed with the breakfast 3 of 4 mornings. A few blocks from downtown so location was great. Smoke alarm was blaring early one morning because someone took a shower and the steam set it off. No one was around to explain what was going on. It was nice but we ate bfast elsewhere the last day and that part of our experience was disappointing.

We had a most pleasant overnite stay at the Grape Leaf Inn this past weekend. The charming century-old house was homey, sparkling clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and they had not problem accommodating my husband's dietary restrictions. The proprietor was attentive to our needs, engaging and professional. The location was ideal, as it was not far from a freeway exit, yet only two blocks from downtown Healdsburg. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you're planning a stay in, or near, Healdsburg.

A beautiful and charming Inn. I visited with a group of women for a business retreat. Breakfast was amazing, and I loved having the coffee availability all day & night. The locations is within walking distance to downtown. I can't wait to come back with my husband. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

We wanted to return to Healdsburg for some tastings at wineries in the area. A hotel in town that we had stayed in the past told us that they may be closing for renovation at the time of our visit, and recommended the Grape Leaf Inn. What a terrific recommendation. We consisted of 2 couples, so I reserved 2 suites, Pinot Noir and Champagne. A member of the other couple has some mobility issues, so they stayed in Pinot Noir and we stayed in Champagne. I absolutely loved Champagne. Outdoor shower was so refreshing. The outdoor sitting area was so comfortable. The pool almost seemed to be our private pool as it was so easily accessed from Champagne, and both times we went swimming, we were the only guests in the pool. Our friends said that the Pinot Noir suite was wonderful as well. They did not share any more details with me. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and very delicious and filling, which was great to prepare for a day of wine tasting. Also, the location is ideal. We walked to dinner each night and did not have to worry about having too much wine, parking, or arranging an Uber to return to the hotel. Lastly, Cindy and Ve were very hospitable hosts. We had to change 1 of our plans, and Ve was a rock star assisting us. She took care of our dinner reservation change of plans and set us up with a delicious bottle of cabernet with lovely jazz music in their speak easy as a night cap when we returned to the Grape Leaf Inn after dinner. I highly recommend the Grape Leaf Inn and we would definitely return the next time we are staying in the town of Healdsburg.

My only negative feeling about this stay, is that we could not be there longer. What a beautiful place! Very caring inn keeper. Check-in, warm and welcoming Room, comfortable and well appointed Breakfast felt like we were in the most kind and hospitable home. Ve helped us return to life, with delicious breakfast sandwiches and fresh squeezed orange juice. Much needed after an evening of oversampling the local grape juice. We did not dip in the pool, as it was 98 F outside and the pool is heated but I would look forward to visiting again during cooler temps. I imagine that would be very healing. What a delightful experience staying at the Grape Leaf Inn for our 50th wedding anniversary! Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. All of the staff were friendly and very welcoming. The Inn is within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and shops. We hope to stay there again.
