My stay at Aquays in Havelock left me disappointed, and I would rate it only 2 stars in terms of customer satisfaction. It felt like the management didn't prioritize guests at all, as they seemed to rely on their business tie-ups with tour operators for bookings, rather than focusing on providing a great experience for individual customers. To begin with, breakfast was supposed to start at 7 AM but didn’t actually begin until 7:15, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. The hotel gave off an unkempt vibe, almost like a slum, with clothes drying all over the balcony and railings. The 4-star rating on Google isn't a reflection of the traditional star rating system as per the Ministry of Tourism; rather, it's based on customer satisfaction. So if you're booking a package that promises a stay at a 4-star property, this is probably what you should expect. The laundry service was another issue. I had to repeat my requests at least three times for the staff to understand what I needed. There was also no lift in the hotel, which made moving around a bit inconvenient. Additionally, some of the door locks were broken, which was concerning in terms of security. The TV in my room was crooked and not properly installed, which showed a lack of attention to detail. When I first checked in, the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, and I had to switch rooms. Overall, the experience was far from what I had hoped for, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my stay
