Premier Inn Portsmouth Havant South

Hotel was clean & tidy, receptionist friendly & helpful BUT terrible food tried to be passed off as edible after almost 2 hours of waiting with young children. Whilst I appreciate the meal deal is a cheap dining option what our group were provided was terrible & probably the worst dining experience ever. Full refund obtained before we left.

Had to travel south for Aunt’s Funeral. Booked into PI Langstone as convenient for where the funeral was. Staff were lovely when we arrived, really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Used to stay at a different location when we came down to visit family but will be happy to stay here next time!

Stayed here on a visit to Portsmouth to visit family. Unfortunately, it was not up to the required and expected standards from a Premier Inn. Very poor customer service throughout, breakfast not ready at stated times with most of the staff in the staff office for some reason, and generally just poor in all areas. I won't be staying here again.

The hotel and staff were awful. Breakfast on the Sunday and Monday was pitiful, lacking and not worth the money. The staff were uninterested and the chef was rude. Don't pay for breakfast. Definitely not a good premier inn and we won't recommend it stay there again!

the room was very shabby , the curtains were hanging off , the room was claen and basic . the TV would cut out every 15 minutes , the restaurant was closed , both evening and breakfast , key cards machine was tempremental . I would use premier inn again just not this one.

This hotel was a convenient location to what we needed it for on New Year's Eve. Received a email a week before saying the restaurant would be closed . Annoying but okay as there's a local pub for dining in the car park literally 1 minute walk. On arrival ample parking which soon became very very busy. A welcome , not a warm one , all check in machines not working, messy reception area , 1 member of staff working from a laptop to check in. Room on the 3rd floor , that's where the problems began , the wind and the rattling was horrific, continued all day and night , kept awake from sleeping , flat roofed hotel and cladding which was rattling all night long. Noisy AC and heating rattle , broken furniture , no signal through hotel , only saw 1 member of staff through the whole stay. Bed was comfy , room was tidy , all amenities where they needed to be . Would request lower floors if staying here.
