Ross Mansion Bed & Breakfast

We were more than pleasantly surprised, Ross Mansion was superb! The location along a lovely street and its drive-up appeal offers a hint of what is in store. The inside is filled with period furniture and our "chamber" was wonderful. All the amenities one could ask for and a outrageously comfortable bed. Gerry met us at the door and provided all the information about the workings of the B&B personally. We also met Jenny that evening and at breakfast. Gerry offered several options for dinner all of which were located a 10 minute walk away in downtown Hattiesburg. The short stroll on a lovely evening was just the thing after a long day in the car! Breakfast was multi-course and delicious.

Fabulous experience! Went there with a friend for a high tea and evening in a suite. Could not have possibly been a better visit. The tea was artfully decorated and food very good. We discovered Haney and Son's Indigo Punch tea (which I promptly ordered for myself once home). Our suite, the Peacock Room, was large, impeccably clean, comfortable bed, and had the most unique decor (it's obviously the Peacock Room because of the enormous peacock in the corner, but you realize the subtle decorations in the lamp on the bedside table, motif in the rug, the bathroom soap dish, etc.). The whole mansion is tastefully decorated and the owners are proud (as they should be!) to tell you about the history, decorations and furniture, and renovations. I will be back!

We came to Hattiesburg for a wedding. I was in awe walking into Ross Mansion! The home is absolutely beautiful. Mr. Gerry and Mrs. Jenny were so welcoming. We stayed in the Garden Chamber, so beautiful. Bed was very comfortable and had a great night's sleep in the quiet and peaceful home. We will definitely return.

In Hattiesburg for the Blackberry Smoke concert at the Saenger Theatre. From check in to check out our stay was fabulous. The house is absolutely gorgeous, rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was not only delicious but, beautifully displayed. Thanks Jenni and Gery for all your hospitality. We will be back for sure.

We couldn’t have asked for for a better place to stay. You walk in the house and it’s like stepping back into time. The house is beautiful furnished and the gardens are lovely during the day and at night as well The owners Gerry and Jenny are as welcoming as any hosts of any place we have been. They go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible. They have done a great job of furnishing and decorating. The breakfast was delicious and they made sure that we wanted for nothing. Excellent all around

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to stay at Ross Mansion and I’m not sure how to adequately put into words the beauty of this magnificent home. It exudes charm! As we were guided through each room we felt as though we were being transported back in time. The collection of antique furnishings and artwork is exquisite. One of the highlights of our stay was the luxurious Peacock Chamber. This suite is equally as comfortable as it is beautiful. Breakfast was more than just a delicious meal, it was a delightful experience that honored a more genteel era with a meticulously set table of antique china, glassware and a sprinkling of flower petals. Perfection! Our hosts, Gerry and Jenny, are incredibly kind and hospitable, and their attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. For anyone looking for a unique and charming getaway, this is place!
