Comfortable stay

Great hotel at very affordable. Excellent choice. You cannot go wrong with The Comet!!

I stayed at this hotel just after it opened and it was pristine, friendly, and great all round. This stay left me amazed that the cleanliness and service were about the best I have seen in a very long time of business travel. The room looked new, and all the saff smiled and chatted. Food was oustanding, and overall great value for money. Do no overlook this gem!

Nice quiet hotel, despite being just off the A1. Very convenient for visiting our family in North London.

As always, an excellent welcome and friendly staff at The Comet. This is always my first choice in the northern home counties. As well as the great staff, it's a nice modern hotel with good, large, clean, well appointed rooms.

Great hotel, fantastic friendly staff and the food and drink both evening and breakfast was spot on.... thoroughly recommended. I will be staying again in the near future

All good but they need to invest in another toaster. 1 4 slice for all at breakfast was causing a queue and it was the slowest one I’ve ever come across!!

Standard room perfect for two. -Clean -Spacious enough although, not so much the amenities -WiFi password not present in the room -Room key for power to the room is difficult to know which side the key goes in so power cuts off after couple minutes till you try to enter the key again the right way. - Appreciated the stay and service from reception staff. Friendly and easy communication. Efficientcy is there. Thank you.

Reception staff funny and friendly. The room was nicely presented with a queen size bed, large tv and large wet room. Comfy bed, tea, coffee, water etc. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend and use again.

房間很新，location不太好，離着什麼都遠，去哈利波特片場還要打車或者開車才行，公共交通的話估計要一個多小時，床很舒服，就是去吃早餐還要走出去，雨天很不方便…沒有冰箱 不能用洗牙器 但是比倫敦市區的性價比高很多

The hotel itself was very nice. Unfortunately my stay was not good due to being put in a room that was outside the student flats. Because it was a lovely the students were partying until the early hours of the morning. It was reported by the security of the flats was not interested. If staying at the Comet ask for you room not to be overlooking the flats!

The Comet is excellent hotel. Modern, clean with a restaurant and bar. There were lots of small touches that just makes this an excellent choice. Example : room lighting was excellent. Too many hotels have completely inadequate lighting in the rooms. Shower having both a fixed faucet and one you could hold in your hand. Some cookies with your morning tea/coffee in your room. AC that actually worked well and was not like having a plane engine in your room. Everywhere not just the rooms was clean. The restaurant had an adequate menu selection as did the bar. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We shall stay here again.
