Bit shabby& run down here, even for a premier inn. These hotels are pretty basic, but you do get a good nights sleep & beds comfy! Breakfast was awful, there’s holes in the headboard, dents in the radiators & the carpets are as dirty as a nightclub at 2am! The location is good & staff are lovely! We stayed here as it’s a nice area. I used to live in Hartlepool & was home for a cousins wedding, so it’s pretty central for us, where we’re needed to be. Big standard basic hotel normally… but just needs a bit of TLC as it’s a bit run down!!

All the staff at Hartlepool marina were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, very helpful and professional. I would particularly like to give a special mention to Sophie, who was very helpful and polite. I stayed whilst on a business trip, my room was very clean and Sophie was very attentive to any queries I had. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be back. Thank you Premier Inn Marina.

Premier Inns always provide comfy beds, clean spacious rooms and bathrooms at a good price, so it’s easy to leave a good review. However my stay in Hartlepool Marina was improved greatly as a result of the wonderful staff who work there. The room was always cleaned to a high standard and help with a pleasant smile was always on hand.. a special mention to Hayley and Erika who were great help and very personable. It was as always never great to be away from home for so long but their help and greeting in an always friendly manor really enhanced the stay in making me feel more of a home away from home. Thank you both for brightening up the stay of the whole team that stayed with you.

Nice location to stay in near the harbour and the room was nice and spacious and there is ample parking outside and the hotel is situated in a quiet spot but not far from the centre. The restaurant next door is welcoming too. The WiFi was rather unreliable and without great mobile coverage you are left with a frustrating experience or having to pay for premium WiFi which these days is a bit like having to pay for your own hot water. In the end I worked from McDonalds instead up the road. Also the heating kept turning itself off about 10 times in the one evening.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Ash, Liv, Sophie and Becks. Made my stay. Room excellent and so quiet and peaceful. Love this place. One of the best PIs I have stayed. My kids loved it too when I was last here with them. I remembered Sophie from that stay as she was so helpful when we arrived late. Pleased to see her here still and now with many other helpful colleagues too, including David on night shift. Highly recommend. 5 hours sleep here is worth 8 in my place in London. Restaurant serves great bf and dinners too and with friendly and helpful staff.

Always a pleasant stay, beds are the standard Premier Inn beds however extremely comfy! Have stayed a few times recently and always greeted at reception - on my last visit they recognised me and gave me a pack of biscuits and a little card saying welcome back - lovely gesture from David, who checked me in. Only issue is the mobile coverage really, however the free WiFi makes up for it - I opt for the premium one generally as it’s much faster. Thanks again!

Room was superb beds were Devine. Can’t say the say the same about restaurant next door, service was diabolical xmas dinner veg was almost cold, dessert delivered to wrong table instead of ours causing a 30 minute delay. Xmas eve we had to wait 40 minutes for our dessert, only the breakfast Xmas morning was spot on.
